If you look at historiography, there has been a concerted effort to overplay jut contributions and downplay nonjut contributions since the British took over. To simplify Sikh military history like you've done before is just evidence of a really simple brain at work. Plenty of people of all castes showed uncommon bravery in Khalsa history , so your simple worldview isn't sustainable.
