The Romans changed many things in their benefit.

Same with our missionaries and jseudo protestant victorian sikhi sects*. Thanks vahiguru, we have unmodified, unaltered - sri guru granth sahib ji and sri dasam granth sahib ji which remains direct source of gyan guru which bestowed kirpa on his sikhs.

Guru Nanak IS God, not just was.

Guru Nanak is without ego, without anger, without attachments, without lust, and without greed. Guru Nanak has no sense of I-ness. When all vices and I-ness is gone, there is only the light of God left. Guru Nanak is the pure and undiluted light of God.

We have selfish people in our community; however, not once had anyone tried to change Sikhi! We had people constantly wanting to take benefits for themselves but never was Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's message altered. I'm sure that the Romans kept Jesus's teachings because they benefited them as they require no right to question it kept the poor obedient to them.

We have had many people who tried to change sikhi!!! Babu teja bhasuria was one of them. He took out the bhagat bani, raag mala and more banis from sri guru Granth sahib and compiled his own Granth. If you don't count that as trying to change sikhi then I don't know what is.

Also, let's not forget that people were taking amrit sanskar ceremonies that included vows of loyalty to the British king/queen too at the turn of the 1900s. If that isn't changing Sikhi what the hell is?

Ram Rai tried to change Gurbani to flatter/not offend Mughal Emperor and also did karamat for him ....so not totally true . There have been attempts made by delusional individuals that they could leave out: Bhagatan di bani from Guru ji, leave out Ragmaala etc but Guru ji Ensured their discovery and removal of the counterfeits ...Dhir Mal tried to withhold Pothi Sahib and thus destroy the dissemination of Sikhi even now we have Radha Soamis , Naamdharis etc leeching the message of Gurbani to create followers for their fake Guru lineages.

The groups you guys mentioned have been excommunicated! Christians have never excommunicated the folks who attempted to change the teachings of Jesus, (unless Jesus was a Pakhand). If that's true where would otherwise devout Christians find guidance?

it's hard to excommunicate the founding church i.e. Vatican /Pope but seems that O Papa is the last one according to prophecy the Jesuit pope is the last , whether this means the city of Rome will get overrun by ISIS or the New World Order kicks in Waheguru only knows ...

The true religion: Sikhi, has excommunicated the equivalent of the pope, (Akal Takht Jathedar), when Darshan Singh Ragi was saying Anti-DasamGranth ideologies. If we can do it they can do it as well. (Unless they admit Jesus was a Pakhandi Baba whose entire ideology was a lie!) The fact of the matter is they couldn't even stand up to the Catholic Priest molestation, while no Khalsa had ever molested anyone.

we do not have the equivalent of the Pope , never did have the Jathedar was originally just a custodian of khalsa rehit if he fails in that duty he fails as a Khals also. There is only Guru Granth Sahib ji and Guru Panth Sahib ji - always was, always is and always shall be .

If a bheki khalsa has commited such a heinous act he should be excommunicated point blank and maybe traditional sentence should be applied
