Utter vaheguru whenever you can during the day. Wake up at early hours in the morning and focus on your own voice when uttering vaheguru. Try reading bani also when you have more free time available. Do not seek advise from any baba Ji other than Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji mahraj

Black magic does not affect the Sikhs of guru Ji

This is a powerful video with a message. Watch it and you will realise how you can actually black magic yourself with your thinking.

This is the proven way to do it the Sikh way. Waheguru is a powerful name to focus and to say. Saying it with your tongue will attract into you virtues like truthfulness, satisfaction etc. When these develop then you will be able to enjoy your recitation even more.

Think of Ravans life. The one negative thought he had of wanting Sita drove him blind and to nothingness.

We are also nothing without Naam. Naam sustains us. Without Naam we have nothing to stand by us and we get steeped into sickness and try to look for excuses.

Naam jap yourself to success everyday. It kills all your negative thoughts giving you positive energy. You will never believe how high it can lift you if you never try it. Best of luck.

Vaheguru ji. I don't think you will get much good advice on an internet forum for this personal issue. Black magic ghosts etc DO exist and they can still have an effect.

Best thing for you do:

1. Do ardas to Vaheguru Ji/ meet Guru Granth Sahib Ji and tell them directly about your problems.

2. Find a TRUE Mahapursh and seek their advice.

Last thing I'll say is that many people on here may not have experienced such things so they can easily say it doesn't exist, or it doesn't effect a Gursikh.......there is some truth to this but how many gurmukhs are there around. ie strong amrit vela nitnem naam bani katha etc.

alot of people on here are 'kids' seek better advice from 'real' people not those who have studied the cyber vidhiala of the internet.

Contact good groups that will have links to true mahapursh.

Sri Akaal Ji Sahai

Pen Jee,

have you ever gone to a doctor for a check up? Have you had your blood or urine tested?

Maybe there is some vitamin or mineral deficency....

In bad moments, everything seems quite obscure .....

Somehow you seem abandoned, alone, so keep the company of good friends and family members, especially in these moments just to aid you. Bad moments if shared also, they become lighter ....

Apart from trying to lead a healthy life, like doing some exercises, walks, pranayam ...fruits.....do as the brothers above have advised.

That is like for example, chanting Wahiguru Simran for quite a good time, To start with, do it for 10 or 15 minutes, then increase it graduallly. But never ever leave this anchor of Naam.

Cause as the Bani says: with His Simran, even the mighty Kal, dares not come near that soul. So what to say about his subordinates, the bhoots.

Best wishes sister, if not other, keep in touch with us here.

Sat Sree Akal.

I can understand how you feel & think you are suffering from depression as this too has happened to me. (I also started thinking that someone had done black magic on me) but this is all in the mind. I still suffer from depression some good days & some bad. I try to do as much Simran as I can but listening to kirtan & Bani uplifts my spirit. Also had counselling which has helped. Sangat is also important going to the Gudwara doing sevaa distracts me from negative thoughts. Stay positive May Waheguru ji guide us through this difficult time.

U just sound ungrounded/ depressed. Look for good sangat, and go out with friends family etc.

Do this:

* Go to work 9am-5pm and if u don't work, do Seva 9-5

* 6-7pm go to the gym/e xcercise

* in the evening meditate.

This is how we become a balanced soul. I can't stress how important this is.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
