Sorry I'm not sure what it commemorates or what's written as I can't read Urdu. I was hoping somebody would enlightnment on it.

It's on the marble floor on left of Dukh Bhanjani Beri ji.

Persian/Urdu language was used on the floor tiles to state contributions by Sikhs and others in the past. It was considered to be bad to walk over Gurmukhi

Just wandering......The way you two mix up your Farsis' with your Urdus'.....Does this problem exist in all aspects of your life. I mean when you did your English exam at school did you mistake it for German and did you mistakingly do your French exam in Greek ?

You cannot fight with the system here and the best part is you are a visitor and you will be going back so just enjoy the good things and ignore the rest, that is how we have managed to survive here.

Have you visited RANGLA PUNJAB ,HAVELI jalandhar ,i would say that is the only thing worth giving a try.

Also try to spend more time at GOLDEN TEMPLE ,AMRITSAR.you will feel the bliss.

if you have time try to visit historical gurudwaras in HIMACHAL PRADESH specially PAONTA SAHIB,GURU GOBIND SINGH JI spent a big part of his life at this place.

Actually Mr Know it all, somebody that was with me said it was Urdu so I don't know any better but just repeated it. So I apologize if I stated it wrong. But as you know everything in the whole world about everything, can you tell us what's written? What does it say ?

Keep wandering, you may find some manners while you're at it too.

Nobody wants to fight the system, there's nothing wrong in saying it as it is. Hanji we were visitors, just like people from Punjab are when they come to UK. Not sure when I'll be going back, but it would be to see more Sikhi related places or places I didn't go before on my visits.

Yes been to Rangla Punjab, Haveli. Not much going on there. Bit boring seeing the dancers after you've been to a wedding.

Hanji, Harmandir Sahib ji gives fulfilment to the soul.

Well I'm back now, but Paonta Sahib ji and other isthaans would be considered for next visit. Did want to go to Anand Sahib Pur Sahib ji but wasn't enough time.

Thank you ji.

One of the strangest and most stupidest experience of my life was when, on a visit to Punjab, someone suggested we leave our real life farmhouse on a real life farm with a real life persian wheel where we were sitting on a real life manjha in a real life rural outdoors watching our real life jattian relatives milk the real life buffaloes and instead..............go to a restaurant in a polluted city where they have plastic statue mock-ups of the real thing. In other words, leaving our real life in Punjab in order to visit a place that badly mimics our real life in plastic. :stupidme:

Lolz yes that I agree with. Nothing much to write home about that venue. It's ok to pass boredom, and for those that want to eat out, but not really my scene.
