I am travelling to egypt for 3 months and couldnt find any Gurudwara sahib or info on sikhs there. Neither could i find anything on kirpan laws

Are there any sikhs living there

What are kirpan laws in egypt

has anybody travelled to egypt with kirpan i am quite concerned

what precautions should i take being sikh while i am there

The bigger question is why would you want to live in Egypt? (In America it's part of a long list of Islamic countries that the State Department recommendeds not visiting).

Brother i am going there for official reasons or else would have never even thought of going there

Best to check with your airlines or travel agent. The last time I heard somebody was there they were police escorted because of internal security issues. Maybe they are fine now. Mostly whites and arabs and Muslims visit there.

Where the escorted ones sikh?

There are no Gurdwaras in Egypt, (despite the fact that Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji went to Egypt), all I will say is stay safe in Egypt: (it's a lawless land especially now, following a Kirpan law would be the least of your worries, you should keep some self-defense there even if you aren't Amritdhari).
