I'm planning on visiting amritsar this summer, wondering if anyone has crossed the border by foot or bus/coach into lahore? I'd like to go for a couple days and then cross back over into amritsar.

As a british national, should i apply for a PK visa whilst i'm here in uk, or india or is there a visa on arrival in pk?

Once i've got my pk visa, whats the process?

Any advise from those who have crossed the border would be appreciated. Thank you :)

We went to pakistan from india from wagah border. You need to get ur visa from UK. Then go to wagah border with luggage. You need somebody to drive ur car back cuz ur not allowed to take ur car across the border. You will get a guide from india side who will lead u through. The guides sort of force themselves on u. You will have to go through two checkpoints one one india side one on pakistan.neans lots of standing around while they check ur luggage. I think foot is faster than train. Then on pakistan side u will have to hire driver to take u everywhere. Also they gonna force you to look at their wagah museum and buy something.
