A Gurdwara in Nuneaton, Warwickshire is looking for a Minister of Religion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform the daily religious services: Parkash Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the daily Sikh prayers and Sukhasan Sahib; Morning and evening Katha Vichar.

Recite the Sikh prayers during Akhand Path, Sehaj Path and Sukhmany Sahib.

Lead the weekly Diwan, preach Sikh Religion to congregation.

Perform Kirtan using a harmonium.

Have good knowledge and understanding of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

Provide spiritual and moral guidance to adults and community.

Perform marriage, engagement, funerals and other religious ceremonies in accordance to the Sikh Maryada.

Must be able to speak, read and write Punjabi.

Must have extensive knowledge of Sikh Religion and awareness of other faiths.

Own a car with full driving licence.

Complies with National Living Wage regulations, with free accommodation offset.
