If you're working in some blue collar job, are you in the position to call anybody else stupid when you achieved very little of yourself? That is the point here.

Nobody 'exploited' you. Nobody put a gun to your head and forced you to work for them. Stop smoking weed. It clouds ones judgement of reality.

look at what Guru ji said if you don't have enough of an idea of a person's value ...you want to praise people who use black and mexican people for their labour but then tell them to get out of sight for lowering the prestige of a place ...then that shows me a whole lot of how your brain works . I respect people who choose to work instead of sit on benefits even if they are prepared to work multiple jobs to take care of their responsibility . Trump did not earn from the ground up he had a tiny loan from his folks: one million dollars. chep digs don't change the truth about Trump's scummy behaviour to others of different colours

you should be sneering at Einstein he was only a lowly post office clerk...or even Guru Nanak Dev ji he only did modikhanna work as a clerk and then Farming

Once again, nobody put a gun to your head. Nobody is forcing you to work for anyone. If you can't understand this, get someone to translate to Punjabi and explain it to you.

Stop quoting our Gurus Maharaj Ji as it is arrogant to believe that they will side with you. You are not a Sant or Baba and you have no authority to be quoting our Gurus.

Have you ever considered seeking psychiatric help? Seriously, you sound like someone who is mentally unstable. LOL!

I wasn't going to reply for fear of starting another pants discussion but what the heck, so my response is 'Bothered'?

Most Politicians are of the same ilk, look after #1. Cant say who this quote is credited to, but it sure is true and goes something like, 'Politicians are like diapers, they must be changed regularly and for the same reason'.

Yet he still is likely to become the Republican candidate.

The Guardian is very pro Hillary and Salon , well is a publication that promotes paedophilia.

The only thing about Trump is that he is unashamed about what he does. Other candidates do stuff behind your back and that is what a lot of the U.S. electorate see.

Don't waste your time with her. You can't fix a broken record.

If Trump hired illegal immigrants, he would have been roasted by the MSM. He subcontracts and he can't control how his subcontractors hire people. As for his supposed failures, corporate bankruptcy are filed by most businesses in the US. Out of the 100's of corporations that he owns, 4 filed for chapter 11. That is not bad and a pretty good track record.

To put a comparison, Warren Buffet, the libs version of Trump, would have lost everything if he didn't receive government bailout. At least Trump never took any tax payers money, unlike Warrent Buffet, Citi, BOA, GM....etc, etc.

How about shes defending someone she knows personally who is maligned in media. Look media makes out Trump to be a racist and misogynist

What Lynne Patton does is kill two birds with one stone. One she is a female executive and two she is black. The media will not pick this up because it goes against their propaganda of maligning Sir Trump

Wait you are a Bernie fan (maybe hillary) right? Or your just anti-trump.

So there is no point me even trying to explain to you. Because no matter how much i try you will never accept it.

Why? Because you support the other team (bernie, hillary, nevertrump, anti-trump, cruz). So biased is you.

I thought sikhs of all would be impartial knowing how the enemedia can turn against you as seen in india, who distort truths.

I will tell you who is paid for though, its those bernie fans that turn up at Trump rallies, 15 dollars an hour

point I was making that there are flaws in seeing Trump as he projects because his actions in history also undermine his claims ... It would be naive to see him in the two dimensional way he projects . As sikhs we are not meant to just be lazy and unthinking and accept media manipulations ...that is the main problem we have had in India and worldwide, it undermines those who are trying to get the truth out about Sikh lives in India .

I don't care for any politician per se but keep an eye on likely repercussions of their agendas... That's why I preferred to vote green for yesterday's ballot because it was the least divisive Zac's was blatant divisive, Khan's was promising loads but thin on action plan....

    • I never said anything about life for Sikhs in the UK in the 70s, I was talking about the present day. I understand and respect the struggles that you all went through to get to the position where you are today. But I hope you all don't lose sight of the fact that the freedom and status that Sikhs enjoy in the UK today is very far from the norm. Sikhs in the US today are fighting battles that were settled in the UK decades ago (and without the benefit of a population density that gives Sikhs in the UK at least some visibility and political sway). But forget about the US. You don't have to go that far, you can just cross the English channel and see how precarious the position of Sikhs is in continental Europe. Thanks for giving details about the grooming issue. Do you think this had to do with Labour being more concerned about the Muslim vote (as Muslims former a larger voting block than Sikhs) or political correctness? Or both? I concede that leftists sometimes go to far with political correctness and "canceling" in order to try to show how "fair" and "unbigoted" they are. I am not going to question your take on the whole grooming issue. You know more about that than I do. But that seems to be a very specific situation in the UK. I stand by my general point that left-leaning people are by far the most likely to support the rights of vulnerable minorities (which is the category that Sikhs fall under almost everywhere).   I don't buy your point about a backlash to "wokeness" at all. I don't think that that is what is causing the growing popularity of far-right movements. The way information is shared and distorted today is radically different from what was the norm not very long ago, and that has been the game-changer that has led to today's division and polarization. You seem to think that if the "woke" people would just be quiet, the racists would not have a "rallying cry". That is simply not true. First of all, those people will ALWAYS find something to complain about. (That has certainly been true throughout American history. If it has been less true in UK history, that is probably because the white British majority did not feel threatened by a sizable minority until relatively recently. See my second point.) Second of all, the complaints of the more hardcore right-wing racists increasingly resonate with the more "passive" racists as the majority community diminishes in size and feels more threatened. And third of all, as I alluded to before, today's media/information landscape will allow for any complaints to blow up and go viral.   Any time anyone from the non-majority community asks for anything, no matter how reasonable, there is going to be a backlash from the majority community. And in many instances, the non-majority community doesn't even have ask for anything or complain about anything to provoke a backlash. Their mere existence is enough. This is what history has shown us.

    • And people want to talk about poverty, look at how India was stripped of wealth. Here 2800 silver bars were taken for ww2 but didn't make it back here. Now that they've found it, look at what they are doing with it. The pillaging is still going on.      Treasure from the deep: Thousands of silver bars that were meant to fund Britain's WWII effort but were sunk by German U-boat FINALLY reach their destination - and will be sold as coins Merchant ship carrying silver from India for the war effort was sunk in 1941 Its cargo of 2,800 bars of silver has sat on the bed of the Atlantic ever since Record-breaking bid to salvage the silver from three miles down a success The Royal Mint is now making the metal into coins to remember the tragedy https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2596785/Thousands-silver-bars-sunken-WWII-ship-sold-coins.html
