Bhai Mani Singh Did Parkash Of 1698 Dasam Granth Bir At Akal Takht!

Recommended Posts

Ok the page like many things fixed/restored by SGPC has been mishandled they have glue a lamination to the frontside thus the milky looking gaps where there is no manuscript material the dark ring looks like moisture penetration (maybe prior to lamination) and the spreading ink through the paper like a chromatography . You can see ink spread from some written characters near the tear.

Kartar Singh was not a saintly character. He is the one who took bibis in the front to snatch control

Of akal takhat from baba kaladhari. Baba kaladhari remained peaceful and did not resist. They broke

His leg.

There is a book by damdami taksal wherein this jhabar is named who took a gang to force ragis to read

Shortened chaupai sahib inside harmandir sahib. He caused a brawl like situation inside inner shrine.

Shortening of chaupai sahib is a blasphemous act carried out by such people.

It is worth to mention that akal takhat archive section has many beerhs of Dasam granth sahib preserved and not just

One beerh. In my view akal takhat would have been better under nihung singhs than the likes of SGPC.

Some people tend to have a very romanticized view of the Nihangs in this era. During this time, the low-castes were not allowed to enter Sri Darbar Sahib. they had to do namaskar from the pauria and then go back. Why were the Nihangs as custodians allowing this to happen?

Then when the SS tried to help the low-castes go into Sri Darbar Sahib they all were beaten up. Where were the Nihangs at this time?

The SIngh Sabha, rightly took a very dim view of this and when the time came, they took over Sri Darbar Sahib complex and allowed the low-castes to have the same rights all other sikhs. The conduct of the Nihangs here was totally outside the remit of Gurmat. They laid the seeds for their own downfall here, and look at what repercussions it is having on the panth now.

But that is the first ting the angrez did messed with the dual role of Nihung Jathedar of Chaldi Vaheer who was default jathedar of the central takht and the chaldi vaheer on the insistance of the Brahmins and Mahants ...

No it's not. The first things the british criminal gang did was to nullify the sikhs capacity for war. As a result of this every Sikh had to give up their weapons, being allowed only a 6 inch kirpan. So those who didn't want to give up their weapons left Panjab to seek sanctuary at Sri Hazur Sahib. I wouldn't even say that the british criminals even knew about the dual role of the chalda vaheer.

And this brahmans and mahants phobia you have? You need to work on that.

Who did narainu mahant insist on giving the keys of Sri Nankana Sahib to?

Many nihungs had not surrendered to English after they took over Punjab. Bhai maharaj Singh was one such person.

Bhai Maharaj Singh was not a Nihang. He was if anything a Nirmala.
