Bhai Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale And Jatha Attacked

Recommended Posts

Can someone enlighten why baba Ji joined nastik missionaries cult. He is following many of their dictates like not allowing sangat to gather for amawas and puniya. Broke from panth to be with missionaries to follow puréwal calendar. In a very recent katha he degraded respect for sarovars. Certainly that lowered his respect among Sikhs in USA .

When it comes to defend dasam pita bani baba Dhumma is in front line unlike other so called sants.

DHUMMA SUPPORTERS BEHIND ATTACK ON BHAI DHADRIANWALE

The police investigation report states that the supporters of Harnam Singh Dhumma conspired to assassinate Bhai Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale.

THE POLICE investigation in the assassination attempt on Sikh preacher Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale Wednesday says that the attack was the fallout of a ‘Facebook war’ between the preacher and Harnam Singh Dhuma, head of the Sant Samaj Damdami Taksal (Mehta) which was previously headed by Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.

The four persons arrested by the police have been identified as alleged supporters of Dhuma who wanted to ‘take revenge’ on Dhadrianwala for his ‘Sarkaari sant’ comment.

The Ludhiana police identified the arrested as: Hardev Singh, a resident of Udho Nangal, near Baba Bakala, Amritsar; Gagandeep Singh Harnoor and Jaspreet Singh, residents of Chhadran village, near Katanni Kalan of Ludhiana and Manjeet Singh, a resident of Mohalla Dharampura.

One Hardeep Singh of Kohar village near Malerkotla is also being interrogated by the police. Meanwhile, attending the cremation of Bhupinder Singh who was killed in the attack, Dhadrianwale said if the police fails to arrest all the suspects by Thursday, his supporters would launch a statewide massive agitation against police inaction.

A senior police officer who is part of the investigating team said, “Hardev Singh is the main conspirator. Gagandeep and Jaspreet, his accomplices from Ludhiana, did a recce of the spot and helped him in setting up the fake ‘chabeel’.

During interrogation, they have also confessed the name of one Dalbir Singh. All efforts are being made to arrest Dalbir as soon as possible.” The senior police officer confirmed that Hardev Singh of Amritsar was driving the Bolero vehicle. The fourth accused, Manjit Singh, provided shelter to the accused.

CCTV grabs taken from Ladhowal toll plaza by the police show that accused entered Ludhiana around 5.28 pm in four vehicles and exited the city around 8.15 pm. The suspected vehicles include a black-coloured Mahindra Scorpio with a Delhi registration number owned by one Deepak of Kalkaji area in Delhi; silver-coloured Bolero owned by one Narinder Singh of Patiala; white-coloured Mahindra Open jeep and white-coloured Tata Safari owned by Baba Harnam Singh of village Mehta in Amritsar.

The alleged Dhuma supporters wanted to ‘take revenge’ from Dhadrianwala and tension was simmering since the Sarbat Khalsa called by radicals last year which led to this conspiracy, confirmed police sources. “Dhadrianwale had stayed away from the Sarbat Khalsa which further heightened the tension brewing between the groups.

Analysis by Sikh Think Tank Host Gurnam Singh:

Whatever you views are about the personal animosity between Bhai Ranjit Singh and Harnam Singh Dhumma, given all the circumstantial evidence, a clear picture is now emerging of the reasons why this attack took place. The key issue now is whether Harnam Singh Dhumma has any knowledge of the attack or whether some of his supporters chose independently to take the law into their own hands. The answer to this question might be revealed once all the alleged attackers have been rounded up and precise questions about how they planned the attack and procured the weapons and vehicles are answered.

Whatever the outcome it is critical for Sikhs to apply the rule of law, as Ranjit Singh Dhadriwala has been emphasising. We must work on the assumption that Harnam SIngh Dhuma and any of his followers are innocent until proven guilty. The truth should prevail and those guilty should receive an appropriate punishment. If the law is applied fairly, efficiently and impartially, then the Panjab Government has got a excellent opportunity to restore some pride and credibility.

However, if there is a cover-up or the usual stalling tactics are deployed, then I am afraid we could end up in a very serious downward spiral towards anarchy. When people do not get justice through the courts, they either give up or seek their own remedies. When this happens democracy is the ultimate victim.

The Panjab is teetering on the edge and as I have noted during my postings over the past year, the truth is that endemic corruption has resulted in unholy alliances between criminal gangs, drugs and land mafia, politicians and so called ‘Sants’. My advise to ordinary Sikhs is to see through this and stay true to the deep tenants of Sikhism which are about serving humanity, confronting oppression and tyranny and fighting for a just society and living a spiritual life to become liberated from the ego

From your post it appears you live in America. However, I find it odd that you're an American Sikh that supports Dhumma. The Taksal Gurdwara in Manteca seems very anti-Dhumma.

Many Taksali's believe that Dhumma was/is a CBI agent.

No sensible person respects Harnam Dhumma.

Speak for yourself. You don't know every sensible person.

Many Taksali's believe that Dhumma was/is a CBI agent.

Many Taksalis believed Baba Thakur Singh when he said Sant Jarnail Singh was still alive. Where is Sant Jarnail Singh after 30 years?

Anyone can quote "many taksalis".

Try something new. If you don't like Baba Harnam Singh, don't, but at least don't degrade your own avastha by making up lies/repeating lies/reposting lies.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
