Hello everyone I live in the sacramento area in California. There are a lot of sikhs here but most of them are the alcoholics and kaami kinds. I don't feel comfortable in their in their company.So if there is any good sikh living here who could be friends with me. I am 24.

I am from Sacramento as well and I would suggest you go to the gurdwara sahib located in northern Sacramento. The address is 4600 Pell Drive, Sacramento, Ca. There are many amritdhari kids that go there.

Don't go with any preconceived notions and have Sikhi as the main focus. People will disappoint and many times you will find similar social problems that could end up disappointing you but if you keep Sikhi and Sangat as the priority the attachment of friends isn't a hurdle.
Good luck on finding good Sangat. In my opinion sometimes forums or social media can also act as Sangat at times.
