Let's not fall into the trap of, "Mentally ill child = punishment from God." A few of you are skirting on the edge of making this statement.

I agree that mental illness is a very serious matter. However, let's not pretend like the Sikh community is going to feel sorry for the Badals.

I thank Waheguru for giving my spirit an able body/mind. I ask Waheguru to bless those who are not given an able body/mind. However, I do not feel an ounce of sympathy for Beanta or Badal because their lineage has been impacted by mental illness. I do feel sorry for the boys themselves.

  Thanks for this. It combines the four approved sources (Guru Granth Sahib ji, Dasam Granth Sahib, Bhai Gurdas ji (both Vaar and Kabitt), and Bhai Nand Lal ji in one place. The English translation is the Sant Singh Khalsa and the Punjabi is the Principal Sahib Singh. These aren't that great, but at least they are better than some even worse ones floating around these days.
