Budha Dal Is Punjva Takht, Chalda Vaheer

Minor improvements? Far from it. There are Im sure plenty of great individual nihangs, but as a whole theyve been useless to Sikhs for past few centuries. When is the last time they really behaved like the Fauj they claim to be?

Past few centuries? The same can be said for many other Sampradas. I never heard of Taksal fighting against the Britishers.

Actually purataan sources do state so, the primary sources of Hazoor Sahib state so. Damdama Sahib was only recognized as Takhat in 1966, the S.G.P.C's own report on the matter alludes to the Budha-Dal being the 5th Takhat; if we accept your argument (4 takhats versus 5) then even today Damdama Sahib can be removed as Takhat, why honor it so?

I highly doubt any puratan source says Nihangs are a "Takht". All sources saying they are a Takht started during the 20th century.

As for which Gurdwara can be considered a Takht. From my understanding a Gurdwara relating to the 6th and 10th Guru Sahibs can be Takhts. And since Damdama Sahib was related to Guru Gobind Singh Jee it was chosen. And what better place than from where Sri Guru Granth Sahib jee was written while Guru Gobind Singh jee recited all of Damdami Bir from memory.

I don't understand what objection Nihangs would have for Damdama Sahib having the title of Takht, unless it is haume relating to one's sect that they feel they deserve the title more than such a Pavitar place like Damdama Sahib.

You have missed the entire point of my statement. Can you provide the sources which say the Nihungs as a Takhat are only a 20th century phenomena? I have also provided a reference to why Damdama Sahib was never historically deemed as being a Takhat. The S.G.P.C has agreed upon this itself in it's report.

Because before the 20th century I have not read where the Nihangs are being referenced as a 'Takht', so it is safe to say that it is a recent innovation by Nihangs. As for Sri Damdama Sahib, the entire Panth (except Nihangs) now accepts the place as a Takht, therefore it is a Takht. Even the recent Sarbat Khalsa, the Panth has chosen a Jathadar for Sri Damdama Sahib, and no one, not even the Indian Nihangs opposed this, if it was such an issue of contention. It seems to be an issue that I have mostly noticed Nihangs of the western world raising.

Or otherwise, they are wise enough to remain silent whilst fools debate. What you have read? Are you the entire Panth now?

there has to be a moving takht.

If we believe in 5 stationary takhts, there will be problem. We will need to open new takhts in Europe, America,Canada,Australia, kenya etc etc.

You are completely out of your mind. How are you going to achieve this without complete unanimity from every section of the Panth?

A small point :

If you listen to the katha of Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj Rara Sahib Wale, at the end, almost all the time Sant Baba Teja Singh Ji is doing the ardaas. Now, if you listen to the newer recordings (i.e. from the 70s) in the ardaas they refer to 5 takhts. However, if you listen to the older recordings they refer to FOUR Takhts.

I have also noticed this.
