What she does demonstrate (and very well at that!), is the complete oblivion or apathy the white middle classes (and upwards) have towards the lives of their own lower class brethren.

I've been aware of a vague sense of how much the white middle classes turn their noses up at white working classes in Britain, but only since yesterday have I realised the outright hate and hostility this privileged group harbour for their less able countrymen.

I'm genuinely shocked at the intense levels of vitriol being directed towards those whites who voted Leave. It's almost as if they're viewed as a sub-species by their own. Hopefully it's a wake-up call for a few who are labouring under delusions of the brownie outsider being the enemy. They should look closer to home.

I wouldn't hold your breathe on that. My feelings is that for many of the covert racist wwc (and there are MANY, make no mistake about that), this is the first victory they've tasted in ages. They are going to be emboldened now. Trust me, some of them will be thinking: "Okay, that the first step, in time we'll get these p@kis out too."

But I'm not worried. Like I've said: I grew up in the NF era - I know what will go down in a worst case scenario. What I am worried about, is the new generation of Sikh males becoming so effeminate or materialistic, that they will be too scared to fight or sacrifice should the need require. Sikh females - we all need to work on....

Overall though, for all the brothers in England, I'd strongly caution against excessively pessimistic worldviews. Keep your heads up and f***king train!! We'll adapt and deal with things as they come. We've been established enough, and have enough ground level contacts to get our points across if required. We aren't nobodies here.

And if the time ever comes for us to fight, embrace it - you're Singhs for God's sake!!!!

As I said yesterday, Remain and Leave had their respective benefits and drawbacks.

From a uniquely Sikh perspective - outside of the economics angle - it's a "rock and a hard place" situation. Do we want to live in a western civilisation with a majority Muslim population (it WILL happen eventually), or do we guard ourselves from the racist whites who feel their leash has been loosened slightly, due to momentous shifts in public opinion such as this referendum, and the smell of ethnic blood is in their nostrils?

Both.

I'm not being hyperbolic, but I wish to God we could bear firearms in this country. Real life fights are rarely clean and smooth. Those of us who... er... already have previous with the law for similar infractions can't afford to get caught up repeatedly in nonsense pangeh.

How hard is it for people in Britain to get guns? I know it's not America with our 2nd Amendment, but are there even that many rights for gun-owners there?

I've not really looked into it. I vaguely recall it's much easier for farmers to obtain licences for shotguns, etc, due to pests, but every day civilians? I imagine there'd be so much red tape involved.

Here you go:

The guiding laws for firearms in Scotland are the Firearms (Scotland) Rules 1989 and the Firearms Act (1968). All handguns, semi-automatic and pump-action non-rim-fire rifles are prohibited. A few pistols are licensed on a Firearm Certificate for exactly the same reasons as the rest of Great Britain.

I certainly hope that my country doesn't go in the same direction, (our liberals are always out for banning guns for the average citizens).

"White voters split 53% to 47% in favour of withdrawal, while 67% of Asians and 73% of black people opted for Remain.

Religious divides were also highlighted with 58% of those describing themselves as Christian voting for Brexit, while 70% of Muslims wanted to stay in the EU."

http://lordashcroftpolls.com/2016/06/how-the-united-kingdom-voted-and-why/

Within ten years, Muslims of voting age will overwhelm these demographics. Within twenty years there wouldn't be much point in Whites bothering to vote at all. (A comment from The Guardian).

Slough which has the 2nd most diverse population outside of London voted 54% in favour of brexit. Luton also voted in favour of brexit.

Slough's white british population is only 30 per cent. It is a minority-majority town.

It is not very clear cut.

Birmingham and Bradford with it's large muslim population had a higher proportion of brexit. Birmingham in effect has also become minority-majority.

People need to look at the stats and facts here and look at the behaviours and not get caught up in the rhetoric spouted in some of these papers.

It seems that a significant amount of ethnic minorities voted brexit.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
