Seriously, I can appreciate the logic of your argument. Our people do have a habit of deviating towards the most inappropriate and outright incorrect ways even when the most logical and objectively best route is available. That's the stupidity of human nature. Censorship is not the answer.

well I think statues are neutral , they are made to create a talking point and any positive talking about sikhi by non-sikhs is most welcome . The fact that people here are jumping to the conclusion that we as a panth will somehow start acting like Hindus and start garlanding and doing bhut puja is really fantastical . I mean you really think apnay are going to take puja thaali and saman , stand and do ardas to these kalpanas and give prasad to them, all whilst the Gorey, kaley are walking past ??? Get real

I think it can be made into a plus point , just like the re-enactment of WWI soldiers ...who have created a buzz in our kids and new rememberance and appreciation in our host nations. We remember our fallen everyday and we do ardas that we live up to their levels of sikhi , there is nothing wrong in it . Sikh history is a history that must never be edited out of the world and we need keep adding to the list of good deeds done and victories won against the ills of this world not apologize for existing.
