Do we know how many years are left in kulyug?

Recommended Posts

It is quite  true what Preeet Jee and mahanpaapi have said above.

But the fact is, it is also true, that each moment away from beloved Wahiguru Akal Purukh, is no less than any kalyug.

The Bani says: Ik gharee na miltay   ta Kalyug hotaa.

Sat Sree Akal.

point is the Khalsa raaj is what will help bring about the end of kalyug until then we have the duty to stop the destruction of the planet and increase of faithlessness. Guru Sahiban also assigned us a duty of care to wildlife , and plantlife  we need to be dealing we counter measures to this :

Kaljug.....

He used to post on this very forum.

I haven’t seen him of late though.

Who knows how many years he has left in him?

I pray that God gives him a long life.

Sri Aurobindo Ghose, he belonged to a secret anti-colonial movement called precisely Yugantar, meaning “New Age” or “Transition of an Epoch.”25 There was a strategic purpose behind the announcement in 1894 that the Kali Yuga was over and the Dwapara Yuga, a better age, already in progress; also behind the emphasis on 1899, only five years away, as the year that the new epoch would come into its own. In the early years of the twentieth century, the movement’s propaganda announced that the “sinful Iron Age was over” and urged insurrection. This is not an attack on Sri Yukteswar and those who respect him and his disciple Yogananda, but simply a reminder that even sages have their agendas. Guénon said as much about the authors of the Puranas!

This makes some sense.

Kalyug may have many bad things but it also the yug where it is easiest to attain Mukti with minimal effort. While the previous yugas people were more Dharmi but they had to make more effort and do more meditation. Rishi Munis are said to have attained high levels of spiritual states but it took them hundreds of years of solitary meditation in isolation to do so. Now if a Gursikh keeps rehit, does hours of naam abhiyas daily , and does Sangat of Gursikhs he/she can easily attain the spiritual peaks of the top most Rishi Munis, Peers and even surpass them. Many of the great Rushi Munis/sidhs/Naath yogis of the previous yugas had to retake birth in Kalyug as Sikhs just so they could take Amrit from the house of Sri Guru Nanak Dev jee.

So don't wait for Kalyug to end. This IS the best yug to attain Moksh. It only requires a little effort on your part.
