Some of the comments by Hindus to that article are revealing their real views about Sikhs when Sikhs stand up for Sikhi.

Wherever this community goes will create new problems and give bad name to our country. They have been fighting in every Gurdwaras in US ,Germany France and Canada and police went inside to disperse fighting.

The Sikhs are going through an existential crisis. Few have the inclination or stomach to wear that sh!tbag on their head. Besides, any reading of the Granth Sahib is very clear that the Gurus were intrinsically Hindus and were nurtured by Hindus , as the militant arm of Hindus against the brutal muslim invaders, and the Hindus "gave" their eldest son to the panth to be trained in warfare against the Muslim hordes. It is laughable that even today the main proponents of Khalistan are some Sikhs from UK and Canada, and they are NEVER going to leave both these abodes.

This is exactly why I think Sikh soldiers should not be spilling their blood in Kashmir fighting for such an ungrateful people as the Hindus. Let these internet warrior HIndus face Muslims in real and see how well they will do against Jihadis.

^ some people from india make those type comments about us but not all of them do. For someone who is born in to a Sikh household,  to say Sikhs who stand up for Sikh Maryada and ceremony are wrong is much much worse.

That's true. Some of our own are setting a wrong example. They are born in Sikh household, pretend to speak on behalf of Sikhs but in reality undermine us in order to appease the non Sikhs.

What in the world is Sikh fundamentalism to these people? Do these people even know what Fundamentalism means by itself? If standing up for Gurmat, equality, maryada, daya, and our spiritual father, makes us fundamentalist, then why should we bow to the media and denounce our Sikhi?

true. These moorakhs use the term 'fundamentalist" like it is a bad word. Fundamentalist in context to religion basically means one who stands up for the fundamentals of the faith. So Sunny is admitting that the men who protest these inter faith Anand Karaj are standing up for Sikhi while those(like him) opposing them are going against the fundamentals and basics of Sikhi.

Sikh fundamentalist = A Person who follows the Guru's teachings.

And what the punjabi atheists and hindu extremists want you to believe in is their version of liberal made up Sikhism. Neo-Sikhism that wasnt taught by the guru's but by these corrupt immoral non-sikh fundamentalists.

Each time sunny hundal and his fellow punjabi atheists attacks Sikhs and Sikhism there should be 10 Sikhs at least ready to give the counter narrative to his vile views and bash as hard the the punjabi atheist community as they try to bash us in the media. We know sunny is a perverted guy who takes great perverse pleasure in backing anyone that attacks Sikhs. He is a walking talking racist and promoter of anti-sikh hate crimes against our community. He takes great pleasure promoting islamo-fascism and siding with the likes of abu hamza and anjem choudary. I think he was even defending them during a islamic protest one time when they were in custody. He is always ready attack the faith of his parents and brother (Jagraj Singh of basics of sikhi).

Perhaps its time we put pressure on jagraj singh to disown his blood brother and stand up for Sikhs and Sikhi against the hindu/indian extremists and punjabi atheist extremists like his brother sunny hundal who are commiting these on frequent basis. I gotta ask how long will educated intelligent Sikhs stay slient? Even our democratic peaceful protests are not tolerated by these vile scumbags. We are not allowed to believe in our own teachings no more? They want to tell ius what to believe in? NEVER

Perhaps its time to malign the non-sikh extremists like sunny hundal as much as he maligns all of us with his promotion of hate crimes against our community under the guide of so called anti-sikh left wing journalism.

Perhaps The sikh PA should put out a firm notice to those outside the faith to remind them Sikh internal affairs are a matter for SIKHs alone and that is the Khalsa Panth . maybe sharing this latest talk by Hundal's better bro as widely as possible would help those sleepwalking to wake up and those 'modern' sikhs to wise up.

apparently Hundal jr is getting married ...in an interfaith ??? he's atheist so single faith marriage to a catholic according to tisarpanth's latest FB post...he is crowing that the church is welcoming him in, now I have close relations with people of that faith and when it came to the sacrement of marriage unless you have had the sacrements of Baptism and First Communium you cannot partake of the sacrement of Marriage or Funeral service  ...same as Us . He claims that his fiancee's church is allowing him but I suspect that the old rules still stand in some form . OK they get around it by getting the non-catholic a dispensation from the priest (so can get a church refusing I guess) and then the catholic in the couple has to swear to remain catholic and any children born of the marriage will be Catholics and brought up fully catholic i.e. sacrements must be taken.
