I've said it before MisterSingh and I'll say it again. The nature of online discussion forums is that the reader, from messages written, gains a picture in his or her head about the life of the individual doing the writing. With you always being here, day or night, rain or shine, 24/7, 365 days a year and the fact that you're one of these very asocial people that have not figured out what kind of words and sentences people use in informal settings such as this discussion forum and so construct sentences as if it will be marked by an academic for a journal I think pretty much everyone has an image of you as one of either two things. And, if you had even an ounce of self-awareness - and it were possible to change - you'd make an effort to correct yourself. I'm willing to bet money on either, or both the following:

Physically handicapped - perhaps lacking a limb or something, so permanently at home without a job and wife etc with petty hate and bitterness spinning around your head.

Mentally challenged - unable to distinguish an academic dissertation from an informal forum for da yoots dem and so behaves like Jacob Rees Mogg at a Jamaican blues party.

My advice to you then is twofold. Firstly self-reflect on what you did on this thread, i.e. deliberately start an argument when absolutely no argument was needed. Secondly, develop some self-awareness and understand how retarded writing in an academic way on discussion forums makes you look to others.

Remember, on this thread, I made people aware of a serious problem for our faith and then offered positive and meaningful solutions. You offered an argument. No solutions. No positive ideas. Just an argument. And when the seeds for an argument didn't exist. You just went ahead and started an argument anyway. Self-reflect on that.

The amount of information and the breakdown is pretty shocking.

On a recent trip to Punjab I too noticed some of the things that have been mentioned in this thread. One of the things that stood out was the placement of their banners and such...many seemed to be in a place which I presume would be inaccessible without some potentially official assistance - electricity pylons. Including these huge banners I saw various other adverts pretty much everywhere. Even on smaller road traffic signs (particularly in pinds) I noticed quotes from the "Pavitar Bible" in Gurmukhi which had been cable tied.

The two worst examples was probably seeing banners in and around Anandpur Sahib and literally as soon as you get to the exit of Amritsar airport.

There most definitely need to be a concerted effort to nip this in the bud before the halaat of Punjab becomes like that of South India where the situation can only be described as terrible at best because they have converted a sizable minority of the indigenous population who shareh-aam preach outside temples and do kabjaa of temple lands.

A "koi naa kuch ni karde" attitude as apne (generally both Sikhs and Punjabi Hindus) over there have is extremely counterproductive to any proposed solutions...it seems it was this same liberal attitude which bit South Indians on the arse.

Ranjeet, how comes in all the plethora of problems we are facing as a panth, you still find time to vilify kalay like that? The worse they do is some street level crap: they aren't messing with our faith, or trying to undermine our culture, or trying to politically subvert/use us. And the street level crap they do, they do to each other more than anyone else. I'm proper baffled???

Where have I vilified black people on this topic?

Your buddy GurjantGnostic took offence that black churches have pastors.  He found it racist that I pointed it out. And that the black community have a problem with dodgy pastors. It isn't even a critique, it is just a statement of fact.

If it is pointed that cousin marriages are common with Muslims ,does that make one Islamiphobic? Is that vilification?
