Does cocaine in notes cause more animals to be slaughtered for it? Whether animals are used in notes or not does not matter to you, so you shouldn't mind that some of us care.

Fair enough. But I think it should clearly be a vegan/vegetarian issue and definitely not  made into some Sikh issue because as this thread itself demonstrates, not all Sikhs feel the same way about it. And many of us feel that there are bigger, more important issues we need to deal with than this. This is not to undermine your own (or anyone else's) feelings on the matter - but that's just the reality of the situation.

No one here has suggested what you claim.  Instead people here including myself have been saying animals don't need to be killed for making currency.

It's been said before. Animals get killed and used for all manner of things like clothes, shoes, wallets, making instruments, and there has been no hue and cry about that, but all of a sudden, people are aghast when they get used for making money. I hear that substances from dead creatures are used in other ways too, like dyes. Why have people latched onto this issue like it is some new phenomena?

Here comes the fallacy, my issue is bigger than yours, so I'm make other issues frivolous.  The crocodile is crying again.  The suffering of animals to make currency is related to a bigger issue; the way you think it's okay to kill animals for making currency.

Why the big issue now? What about all the other things animals get killed and used for? I'm genuinely baffled.

Who said or told you killing of animals for shoes, wallets, etc  is not treated as a big issue.  You make up things as you go.  This matter has not been blown out of proportion.  It only seems this way because you have a fanatical view toward meat and want to stop everyone from discussing meat related topics when it's against consumption of meat.

And just to add, you can easily avoid buying things that have involved animal cruelty. If people kept quiet like how (most) sikhs are experts in, there would never be animal cruelty free alternatives.

Have you gone nuts?

I've not stopped anyone discussing the issue, I've just joined in with the debate. You'd better get used to interacting with people with different views to your own, it's a big world out there.

You have been on forums for the last 20 years.  Taking all of your 20 years into account on this topic.  It's more than fair to say you have tried to stop/divert the meat debate when it comes to not consuming meat.
