95% of sikhs are overly materialistic and money obsessed. In my own family every second person is obsessed with show off,money, status.

I know people like to label all this naach-taap  as culture, but lets get real, it's anything but. Just look at the changes at our family events in conjunction to this stuff. Complete gandh. We've allowed it to dominate our image and it has been a major route of value-erosion.

Well one in six, or 16.667%..is a narcicist. Society as a whole features a lot of narcissistic people and people with a normal amount of narcissistic traits. Everything about media culture is based on and increases narcissistic tendencies. 

If we actually hold ourselves and others to Rehit, and Gurmat, and identify narcissists, can we keep the Khalsa Paanth clean, and also decrease the number of babies being born to narcissists. By not breeding with them in their hunting grounds of dating, online especially, social media etc. 

Romance, love, as portrayed is their portrayal. Quick dating, jumping into bed, a whirlwhind of emotion is their hallmark for when you're being victimized at first..the golden period...

This is where Sadh Sangat comes into play, speaking little, so as to not fuel narcissists or give them openings, and sticking together with those you can verify have true empathy and are real truth seekers. Everything in Sikhi reduces narcissistic traits and should disincentivize narcissists from posing as us because the lifestyle is too humbling.

Those Tudor videos you posted in the other thread really help to understand these people. Everyone should watch those.

Amen bro. We're so blinded by our spirituality and empathy if we are not careful. We're their prime target, and people like us. I never could have wrapped my mind around it fast enough. Without at least one truthful reference point, which HG provides. Now the safe guards and protocols of Khalsa living are all jumping out at me. The advice is already in Gurbani, sometimes it just helps to get spoon fed. And it's preventing me from assuming everyone is good. It has me at least screening for that one in six and avoiding them and people even remotely like them, except those I must interact with. And if that isn't related to keeping Sangat I don't know what is.

His videos really lifted the curtain from numerous narcs that have fueled off of me over the years. Kindness and generosity really does attract these savages to feast. No wonder Guru Maharaj said Give your Donations with discerning intellect and Help other Khalsas first! He knew the emapthy that bhagati creates can be abused by these types.

100 bro. And they're going to be born into us and join us, and that's why only Khalsa are Khalsa. Only Khalsa lead. Narcs can enjoy another status if they behave enough.

It's not like you can easily escape them either. They can be your close family and be feeding off you for decades before you twig.
