Given that there has been much publicity about the fact that new five pound notes have animal fat in them, by the logic expressed in the forums, is it beadbi to put five pounds in the golak? Is someone who does classed as non sikh, and how come no one has made a trip to demonstrate at the bank of England, to wave kirpans about in the air??

Ignoring the well-known fact that despite the initial media attempt to paint Sikhs as the instigators behind the £5 animal fat debacle (because of what one solitary Sikh said) the whole campaign has been launched and run by the Hindus. I say "well-known" Guest London jawaan but as you've demonstrated many times here you don't really know much. Add that to the fact that you always have the same point of view as the Hindu Indians its not altogether surprising that you should see an opportunity to paint Sikhs as sword waving fanatics. I've told you before that your views belong on the Hindustan Times and Indian Express..........Your question would be better addressed to them too. Its their issue. Not ours.

If however, there maybe the odd Sikh out there wishing to ban the £5 note from the Gurdwara (and I use the term 'odd' in its literal sense) may I politely suggest he or she remembers that any note of currency will come out of a wallet that sits in the pocket being worn by a man...or out of the purse being held by a woman. Both the man and the woman, as human beings, will have alcohol in them as all human beings produce alcohol in their bodies each and every day. Ban £5 notes from the Gurdwara and you will have to, using the same logic, have to ban all human beings from the Gurdwara. It a slippery slope. But, like I said, one for the Hindus to ponder because it is their issue. Not ours.

Really....we need a topic discussion on this!

Not a problem in my opinion...but if anyone doesn't want it from their golak.......i'll find many good uses for them!

Because Jhatka isn't bad,(Daas is the most neutral on the issue), but even if it were bad what do you think Guru Sahib's Chaur is made of or Tablas leather part? Your maya problem touched stuff that are actually related to Bhujer Kurehits and your complaining on a non-sikh issue. A barber could've touched your money or some drug king.
