I didn't know you was only 16. But man you are a hell a lot of more mature then i was back then. It was also the age my ptsd depression started when i was going onto 17. I didn't know you was of this age group. But back then it was really bad the episodes i had and the other stuff that was going around me as well.

I do hope the antidepressants help uplift me as its low mood depression i have along with ptsd. Its like certain things trigger off these thoughts and tendencies of suicide for me.

But you are right after many lifes and deaths of animals human life has been given

Maharaj kirpa u remain Chardikala bro

Actually, I had another username, which I requested to change to MisterSingh. Mods agreed. But now I realise why the extra R was added. It was already taken. I wish they'd told me.

Thanks bro i do hope i get better. Thanks for the comment to the other user lol.

On any other forum you'd have been banned for the way you've been mooching around encouraging / suggesting suicidal acts.

I'm not getting into a Pity Olympics / "my life's tougher than yours" bakwaas, because I don't particularly enjoy conversing with you, but you're an absolute disgrace, and you should be banned.

Easy way out. Explain to me how I'm wrong.

You think that fool you're defending who continues to allude to suicide being a wonderful release from a painful existence is something that should be praised? If someone genuinely at the end of their tether -- who isn't a posturing attention seeker like your friend -- decides to kill themselves after reading the "advice" of that 1diot, I suppose you'd be okay with it?

I am not okay with it, I am against it but I am just trying to say there are other ways of trying to get the message across, especially to a suicidal person who has self-harmed before.

Anyways I am off to school, back in about 6-7 hours so late replies.

No one can tamper with Akaal Purakhs Hukam even if they wanted to

If Waheguru set us a specific expiry date and we suicide before it, is that considered hukam of Waheguru or did we just boycott the idea of it?

There is no free will, becuase there is no "us" to be free in the first place.

    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
    • Good way of putting it, bro. One of the ongoing themes of Gurbani is the fake saint. Whether it's fake babas in Punjab or English-speaking personalities in the West, it's an continuing problem of religion through the centuries (and it's not exclusive to us by any means, this applies to all human societies).
    • First of all, while it's true that Gurbani says slandering a Saint has such-and-such effects, you can't do the reverse: You can't look and your situation and know for certain what caused it. We're not encouraged to mope over our situations but rather to accept the hukam (will). The last line of the very first pauri of Japji Sahib says to live in hukam: ਹੁਕਮਿ ਰਜਾਈ ਚਲਣਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਨਾਲਿ ॥੧॥ hukam rajāī chalanā nānak likhiā nāl .1. O Nanak! By obeying, the pre-ordained order of the Lord's will. Secondly, the astpadhi from which you quoted the Sant ka dokhi verses has this verse at the end: ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਆਪਨ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇਇ ॥ jis nō kripā karai tis āpan nām dēi . God gives His Name to those unto whom He shows His mercy. So ask for his mercy. Also check out the 7th Astpadi, which talks about the good effects of the sangat of a Sadhu: https://khojgurbani.com/shabad/271/709?highlighted_scripture_id=12007&highlighted_scripture_lang=gurmukhi&selected_content=gurbani I'm not getting into who is a "true" Sadhu in this post.
    • In langar it should be common sense for peopel to find a suitable space to sit. Normally in my local Singh Sabha gurdwara, there is enough space to sit, so I am able to find a space with enough space away from other people. There have been a few times, where there has been a lot of sangat and I have been forced onto a table.  In Slough and Southall Singh Sabha, Park Avenue, I will just sit near another group of men unless I am with family, but again there shouldn't be strict gender separation and instead common sense logic.
