You're right. Why wasn't she at home making rotis and running hot milk for some kids. She can stay at the Gurudwara till whenever she wishes, If she's doing seva then its not her problem. She's hardly stupid.This might come as a shock but in some cases there needs to be people at the Gurudwara to finish off Seva after peak times. IN my local one it takes a great deal for Sangat to get it all done, so many stay behind late into the night to help out. Maybe if you spent more time with people who do seva you'll know there's more to it than just turning up and stuffing your face with Langar.

This is the first post I've seen you do where you aren't pasting something, and in it you called  a woman doing seva as being stupid and are more concerned about reputations. lol nice.

how do you know if she was just visiting the ladies before going home or whilst her folks were elsewhere in the building? being ambushed or suckerpunched there is very little that can prepare you for that especially if your guard is down in safe area of gurdwara

It was mentioned in the news article that she was alone.

Sevadar should have escorted the stranger to the toilet and out.

He is responsible for leaving him unsupervised.
