Also the collusion of other sikh kingdom states south of the sutlej with the British imperialists like pataila enabled the downfall of the glories of the Sikhs military and political power. Perhaps had Maharajah Ranjit Singh and his clan were abit more accommodating to other Sikh rulers instead of imposing and threatening his rule over them they would not have sided and sought protection with foreign enemy invaders.

As the old punjabi saying goes if Sikhs never killed another Sikh..... Sikhs would never be defeated. Unity is our strength and the enemy knows this so they divide us into sects/jatha/castes and rule over us.

+1 Orientals tend to be a Ghulami people, (no offense to any orientals), but the Japanese seem to have defied normal logic by being their own people without wiping the feet of Goras. To put this in perspective out of all Subcontinentals, (Indian, Pakistani, Bengali, plus others), the Punjabi Diaspora is the largest, (Pakistan and Indian of each respectably), and despite that Non-Punjabis have usually maintained their cultures and religions, (Hinduism and Islam), while our lot are forced to make the decision very early on between: (Punjabi and Sikhi), because we as a faith are a smaller minority than either Hinduism and Islam, because despite Sikhs being the most expanded percent-wise; our people haven't maintained much of both because a lot of Punabi culture contradicts with Sikh faith and we realize this especially living in the west rather than back home. But on to Japanese people; they don't have an official military; however, at a young age they are trained in the ways of Martial Arts, (this is promoted in their schooling systems, and is an extremely important part of their physical education), and if you compare that with any other oriental peoples they don't really require it and simply focus on education as the only thing, similar to subcontientals and Punjabis.

Our people must also be in an independent position if need may be for the best or the worst.

Would be interesting to know what Hindu supremacist Modi and India's view on this is are they on the side of their historical friend and ally Russia or their new American business partners.

I'm guessing they will stay on the sidelines staying neutral like China at the moment.

al asad too is not innocent.He has oppressed secular opposition for the last 40 years with brutality.He has done the same with peaceful protester since 2011 essentially pushing Syrians sunnis towards radical ISIL.An average syrian who has lost his family or loved ones by asad forces and now that person want revenge he is more likely to turn towards isil coz they have got weapons and all that stuff.
