Sukhmani Sahib and nitnem queries

I am a student preparing for entrance exam aged 25. I feel very bad on the days when I don't do paath. Really really bad. It feels like i am wasting my life.

So i try my best. But one day it was first time when i did Sukhmani Sahib, i fell in love with this bani. 

But because of my busy student life, i am confused. Can i replace my Japji sahib and Jaap sahib (morning prayer) with Sukhmani Sahib ???

I have limited time in the day, so can't do both. Please help i am greatly confused. Should i let my heart go where it goes. 

 

Plz guide me, i am deeply troubled.

After japji it is fine to do as many astpadis of sukhmani ss you can and leave the rest for another time.  Mention it in ardaas when you finush one whole path.
