it is always the running theme in indian movies and serials that sikh girl/boy falls for muslim or hindu other half and leaves their faith for the other. Even in that BS movie partition the guy falls for a muslmah and he leaves sikhi. As Gobbels said

I've mentioned on a few occasions how the war on Sikhs at the hands of the Indian state has graduated to one of disinformation and propaganda after the physical intimidations of the 80's and 90's . This isn't a loopy conspiracy theory. Some of the great political thinkers of the last century have written volumes on how to brainwash, subdue, and demoralise a population through entirely peaceful means. Our consumption of Indian films and TV shows that are directly designed to chip away at our collective religious and cultural identity is not an accident or some serendipitous form of natural cultural development. The remaining confusion and discord is being carried out by "our" spiritual leaders from within. I know those who worship these contemporary personalities will say, "But my Baba / Sant isn't corrupt!" No, they are all bent; some more than others.

If the pakis don't care what faith the victim is why don't they do it to their own?

They consider their females to be pure. Generally speaking, they don't wish to taint them. It is warefare absolutely correct. Its systematic weaponized grooming against the kufr,  most muslim extremists will tell you openly..... they are actually dopey enough the admit it. The "moderate muslim" and "liberal muslim" are the sly clever ones who know the dark agenda of islamic conquest and take over ......basically islamification at the expense of the non-muslim demographics and their religions/nations.

correction they consider their women to be property and therefore will not trespass on anothers property unless they happen to believe their owners  can't defend them or they need to be taught a lesson for being the wrong type of muslim

for those who don't think this is true  just look at the custom of getting debts and quarrels settled by marrying off your prepubescent child to the creditor or complainant.
