Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

Daas has been going around the internet for a while, and is very confused about Bhagat Soordaas and His Baani in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

I have read that Bhagat Soordas Ji only has 1 line in SGGS:

But I also read that line may be Kachi baani, and the Soordas Shabad Written By Guru Arjan Dev Ji (According to the Mehla) was actually written by Bhagat Soordaas Ji:

When I was looking around the net, I saw that people said that Bhai Baano had inserted Kachi Baani into the Banno Bir (Mirabai, Soordas, etc.)

I never understood what Kachi Baani was inserted, so I went online again and looked at some Puratan Saroops of Guru Granth Sahib Ji and I found this:

It looks as if there is a whole shabad to the 1 line that is attributed to Bhagat Soordas Ji. I attempted to type it up:

Can anyone explain what is happening here? Is the shabad typed above Kachi Baani? Is the Soordas Shabad that starts with "ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਗ ਬਸੇ ਹਰਿ ਲੋਕ ॥" actually written by Bhagat Soordas Ji instead of Guru Arjan Dev Ji?

Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji Bhidran Wale explains this in their katha.

When Bhagat Soordas Ji  was asked recite their bani by Panjve Paatshah, they read the first line and went into samadhi. (Chhad Man Har Bimukhan Ko Sang).

Then Guru Ju composed Sarang M5 Soordas. When Bhagat Ji came out of samadhi, they did complete the shabad, but Guru Ji  said we will only accept the first line for Gurbani

I have heard of this story before. How does that explain the full shabad after the first line then? Why do some Puratan Saroops say Bhagat Soordas Ji instead of M:5?

No disrespect for Bhai Gurbachan Singh, but this story is hard to believe after I saw the pictures.

Anyone know what Gurbani Scholars who did Khoj on Puratan Saroops say about this?

You should listen to sant Gurbachan singh Ji's katha of the shabad on ang 1253. They say that guru sahib finished the shabad but bhai banno's puratan Bir has bhagat Ji's complete shabad that they finished after coming out of samadhi

The pictures actually prove the story. There are many Birs that have the full shabad. But those with the Guru's signature and those written by Baba Deep Singh Ji and Bhai Mani Singh Ji will only have the one line.

Who are these Gurbani scholars you are wanting sangat to present.  How many puratan saroops have you looked at to say Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh ji doesn't make sense?  Which puratan saroops have you looked at so far? Name them and when you looked at them and where you looked at them?

This is why I'm asking.

The story is weird because Bhai Bhanno insterted Kachi Baani into the Bir he copied from what I have read online. They say he included the Mirabai Shabad (Which is Kachi Baani).

All I know is Scholars like Bhai Gian Singh Nihung, Bhai Randhir Singh of the SGPC, Joginder Singh Vedanti, and Joginder Singh Talwara did Khoj of Puratan Saroops of Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaaj.

Does anyone know what they have said?

You have presented what looks to be three different Saroops.  Which Saroops are these?

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
