QUESTION! Why is Margaret Thatcher mentioned in tag? Was there any evidence Torie's were involved after all? WHERE IS THE EVIDENCE!? Or did a labour MP randomly announce Tories were involved AND we sentimental Sikhs agreed, pretending there is hardcore evidence??

All this stuff about Thatcher being involved is political milage being used by the Labour party.

At that time (throughout the 80's), we had a Sikh labour candidate in Southall - a prominent Khalistani and member of Singh Sabha southall committee.

Nothing was ever mentioned or suggested then about Thatchers involvement.

This has all been bought up, because David Cameron was improving relations with the Sikhs above all other Asian communities.

The labour party have 13 Pakistani Mp's how many of them would speak up about Grooming ( of Sikh girls in particular).

Doesnt matter what part it is, what matters is who is pro-sikh and who has and had anti-sikh policies in place.

Be it labour party or conservative party that's irrelevant, Margaret thatcher definitely had blood of the Sikhs on her hands be it indirectly. She not only provided military support (weapons and Military intelligence) to indira's govt but also while innocent sikh civilians were being raped and butchered and burnt alive in the streets of new delhi she started to condemn British Sikhs back home for celebrating the death of indira hitler gandhi rather than condemn the genocide that was taking place in the same Indian city she was in against Sikhs. The heartless evil b1tch didnt say one word about the 5,000+ Sikhs murdered in 3 days not a single word about it.

Any Sikh with half a brain must hate her and her legacy for that and not defend her like some shameless beasts have tried to do.

You can be a tory or a labour party supporter makes no difference you do not defend the person who has contributed to the death and destruction at sri harmandir sahib in 1984. If any Sikh conservative is found to be proud of Margret thatcher then I would class him/her as a non-sikh thus should never speak or stand up on the behalf of Sikhs.

That m0ron fake Sikh paul uppal knew the strength of feelings Sikhs have about the genocide in 1984 yet he did not campaign to get all the files out the British establishment holds about its role in the genocide he went along with the narrative of david camerons govt that British had a very limited role yet hundreds of files were locked away or not looked at properly. And thus he was unelected in the last general election. If any so called Sikh's political party is more important than their Sikh religion then shame on them and the mother that gave birth to them simple as that.

At that time India was doing deals with this British government for Westland helicopters and Sea harrier fighter planes, therefore there was nothing that was going to sabotage the cooperation between 2 governments.

To be honest I admire Thatcher, Sikhs were given all the rights to live here peacefully without fear for losing the right to wear kakkars.

Yes Operation bluestar can never be forgiven, but may be we should look internally for those who let down Sant ji and continue to do so today.

The Akali party misled and betrayed Sant ji, yet Sikhs in Punjab continue to support Akalis.

While countless Sikhs were being martyred during the army action, badal, tohra, longowal and barnala were under police protection.

There were many grasses within gurudware in the UK that betrayed the Khalistan movement and Jathebandis

So if anyone has blood on their hands its our own leaders - we cant even elect a decent leader of our own, how can we point the finger at anyone else.

33 years later were unable to find out where the contents of the Sikh reference libraray are - and yet on the other hand were bringing up Thatcers involvement.

It was the KGB who were involved - are you suggesting we also bring them to book as well ?

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
