Spiritual experiences doing simran, path, kirtan etc.

Would anyone please share some spiritual experiences. I need some motivation to know if I am on the right track. Also I had an itching on my forehead and had a sensation of almost meeting vaheguru, sadly nothing happened. Also I can hear ringing sounds in ears often times at day and night. PLease and thank you.

Don't worry about experiences they come naturally when the heart is absorbed. 

baba nand singh was asked should a rainbird be blessed with rain after its prayers, baba ji turned around and said no, sangat was shocked and wondered how could baba ji say that, then upon urging, baba ji explained that the anand the rainbird has in its pyas (thirst) is more than the one in its reward. 

Most gur sikhs when asked about avasta they say it doesn't matter to them nor does the experience, to them it's a game of love.
