Attempt at Legalisation of Ghazwe e Hind?

What the hell is Islamophobia anyway? Since when is criticising religions a phobia. Anything negative about Islam is Islamophobia. I've noticed Hindus and Christians get mocked all the time but there is no such thing as 'Hinduphobia' or 'Christianphobia'. You have to be kidding me!  Once skepticism and allowance of free speech is stopped then they can spread Islam even further! Disgusting.

If anything Islamophobia makes total sense because why would anyone endorse/support a religion like Islam despite proclaiming to be woke and for liberal rights! Insanity! Ilhan Omar is a vile woman, lol.

Either this is true, or 'set up' to make China look bad, very surprised this is the main headline news currently on BBC

Peng Shuai: Naomi Osaka 'in shock' over Chinese star's disappearance amid sexual assault allegations

The global tennis community has grown alarmed as Peng has not been seen since making allegations of sexual assault against a former Chinese vice premier; Osaka said: "Censorship is never ok at any cost, I hope Peng Shuai and her family are safe and ok"

Naomi Osaka said she was concerned over the whereabouts of fellow tennis player Peng Shuai, who has not been heard from since making allegations of sexual assault against a former Chinese vice premier.

Peng, one of China's biggest sport stars, said on social media earlier this month a former member of China's Politburo Standing Committee, Zhang Gaoli, coerced her into sex and they later had an on-off consensual relationship.

The global tennis community has grown alarmed as Peng has not been seen since the post and on Monday the governing body of men's tennis (ATP) backed the Women's Tennis Association's (WTA) call for China to investigate the allegations.

"I was recently informed of a fellow tennis player that has gone missing shortly after revealing that she has been sexually abused," said four-time Grand Slam winner Osaka. "Censorship is never ok at any cost, I hope Peng Shuai and her family are safe and ok.

"I'm in shock of the current situation and I'm sending love and light her way. #whereispengshuai."

This China grown too much and needs to control this crap country; which I don’t think it is possible.

Fresh unrest has erupted in the Netherlands against new lockdown rules amid rising Covid-19 cases in Europe.

People hurled fireworks at police and set fire to bicycles in The Hague, one night after protests in Rotterdam turned violent and police opened fire.

Thousands of demonstrators also took to the streets in Austria, Croatia and Italy as anger mounted over new curbs.

The World Health Organization (WHO) said it was "very worried" about rising coronavirus cases on the continent.

Its regional director Dr Hans Kluge told the BBC that unless measures were tightened across Europe, half a million more deaths could be recorded by next spring.

"Covid-19 has become once again the number one cause of mortality in our region," he told the BBC, adding "we know what needs to be done" in order to fight the virus - such as getting vaccinated, wearing masks, and using Covid passes.

Many governments across the continent are bringing in new restrictions in a bid to tackle rising infections. A number of countries have recently reported record-high daily case numbers.

Demonstrations and unrest

In the Netherlands, a second night of riots broke out on Saturday in several towns and cities.

Hooded rioters set fire to bicycles on the streets of The Hague, as riot police used horses, dogs and batons to chase the crowds away. Officials have announced an emergency order in the city, and at least seven people were arrested.

Police said someone threw a rock through the window of a passing ambulance carrying a patient. Officers in the city tweeted that five police were injured, with one taken away by ambulance with a knee injury.

Elsewhere in the country, two top-flight football matches were briefly halted after supporters broke into the grounds and ran onto the pitch. Fans are currently banned from stadiums because of new coronavirus rules.

The unrest follows a night of riots in Rotterdamcondemned by the city's mayor as "an orgy of violence". Police fired warning shots and direct shots "because the situation was life-threatening", a police spokesperson told Reuters news agency.

At least three demonstrators are receiving hospital treatment for gunshot wounds, officers said. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

The Netherlands imposed a three-week partial lockdown last Saturday after recording a record spike in Covid cases. Bars and restaurants must close at 20:00, and crowds are banned at sports events.

Tens of thousands of people protested in Austria's capital Vienna after the government announced a new national lockdown and plans to make jabs compulsory in February 2022. It is the first European country to make vaccination a legal requirement.

Brandishing national flags and banners reading "Freedom", protesters shouted "Resistance!" and booed the police.

The country will enter a 20-day nationwide lockdown from Monday, shutting all but essential shops and ordering people to work from home.

In Croatia, thousands marched in the capital Zagreb to show their anger at mandatory vaccinations for public sector workers, while in Italy, a few thousand protesters gathered at the ancient Circus Maximus chariot-racing ground to oppose "Green Pass" certificates required at workplaces, venues and on public transport.

French authorities meanwhile are sending dozens more police officers to quell unrest on the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe, a French overseas department

COVID-19 unrest has created 'explosive' situation in Guadeloupe, says Macron

POINTE-A-PITRE, Guadeloupe, Nov 22 (Reuters) - French President Emmanuel Macron said violence in Guadeloupe over COVID-19 restrictions had created a "very explosive" situation, as a general strike entered a second week on Monday and many stores remained shuttered after nighttime looting.

Hours before Macron's prime minister and lawmakers from the Caribbean archipelago were to hold crisis talks in Paris, there were signs of protests spreading to Martinique, another French overseas territory 190 km (120 miles) south of Guadeloupe.

Compulsory vaccination has touched a nerve in a population that is descended from slaves who worked on French sugar plantations and that during the 20th century was systematically exposed to toxic pesticides used in banana plantations.

"We are descendants of slaves, and for us, control over our bodies is really important," said Pamela Obertan, 40, a political scientist in Guadeloupe who helped organize protests against vaccine requirements. "The government wants to impose a medical experiment. We are still medical experiments."

Agriculture workers in Guadeloupe and Martinique were for decades exposed to a chemical pesticide called chlordecone. Macron has called it an "environmental scandal", French media reported in 2018.

The toxic exposure has since then been linked to unusually high rates of prostate cancer on both islands.

Guadeloupe health workers had since July been protesting coronavirus vaccines mandates and writing letters to government officials without getting a response, said Obertan. By Nov. 15, some could no longer work because they had refused the vaccine.

Ji, your post doesn’t make sense to me. What are you saying ?

China is growing too fast with worse than dictatorship and everybody needs to put this country in control. They are not only stealing technologies by taking advantages of US student visa system but also burying poor countries into "Forever debt" such as sri lanka (port), African countries with their own dream of silk route.

They are worst than talibans.

I don't think they are doing anything worse than any 'superpower' has done in the past.

Also @S1ngh Ji, do you think maybe some of what is reported in other countries' media about China could just be exaggerations or propaganda ?

Qatar employed former CIA officer to SPY on FIFA officials and used London private investigators to set up Facebook 'honeypot' as part of their bid to host the 2022 World Cup

  • Qatar paid contractors to spy on FIFA officials and rival bids for 2022 World Cup
  • Kevin Chalker, a former CIA agent, was paid to gather information, papers show
  • Surveillance included hiring a photojournalist to follow rival bid teams, and compromising another official using a Facebook 'honeypot' trap
  • Chalker said neither he nor his company would 'engage in illegal surveillance'

The tiny Arab nation of Qatar has for years employed a former CIA officer to help spy on soccer officials as part of a no-expense-spared effort to win and hold on to the 2022 World Cup tournament, an investigation by The Associated Press has found.

It's part of a trend of former U.S. intelligence officers going to work for foreign governments with questionable human rights records that is worrying officials in Washington and prompting calls from some members of Congress for greater scrutiny of an opaque and lucrative market.

The World Cup is the planet's most popular sports tournament. It's also a chance for Qatar, one of the wealthiest countries in the world, to have a coming-out party on the world stage.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
