Scheduled "lower-caste" Hindus should be converted into Sikhs, that's the only way Punjab can prosper.

with the active shiv-sena and right-wingers in punjab, best of luck getting that done.

BTW, we sikhs first need to accept our own before we go to the neighbor's backyard. Why did ravidasias split ? why we still don't accept mazhabis ? why we still marry in "caste" ?

honestly, we the present day sikhs are a disgrace to our ancestor and gurus

Sikhs should spread out. We're only messing up because we do such a tutti job of converting others (and retaining those born into it), unlike some other communities.

Not really lol, those other communities have much higher fertility rates, Pakistan only got more than half of punjab because of the demographics favouring the Muslim population - because of the consistently high fertility rates between Muslims (sure many were forcefully converted, but it's difficult adapting to an Abrahamic religion, from an Indian religion) .

edit: Same case with Muslims within Punjab right now..... within a few decades you'll see Sikhi die out (because of low fertility rates more than irreligiosity), you'll see more Hindus become atheists (though the Indian census won't likely accept atheism), and Muslims increase fast in population %.

All of the above problems you mention are not Sikh problems.  In fact they are problems you inherit from the host nation- Hindu problems.  When you live in land which is governed with laws to protect and promote Brahmin beliefs this naturally rubs off on the minority communities which live in the land.  The same happens to migrants who live in the west only that secular hedonism rubs off on them .

Now if we were to just imagine if the Punjab was governed by Sikhs and the laws in place promote and protect Sikh culture all the above problems disappear.  It really bothers me when Sikhs start to finger point and take ownership to cast discrimination when we all know that this problem is nothing to do with us.

Lastly as far as migration goes if Sikhs back in Punjab are flocking to other countries maybe they are unhappy with their lives back home.  They have plenty of reason to be.

So anyone you disagree with, is an "undercover" "troll" ?

I mentioned it would not be irreligiosity, but low fertility rates responsible for the dwindling Sikh population.

With age comes wisdom, as the saying goes, and I've come to realise after having perused the details of other comparable cultures and races around the world throughout history, that fundamentally we need our own country for the long term survival of our people. Yes, the old arguments of, "Can't run a gurughar, how are you going to run an country?" are valid as ever, yet the truth is that we are currently being squeezed out of existence. It's happening so quietly and at such a gentle pace that we can barely detect it, but essentially we will not survive as a people if we remain under Indian rule. I'm not advocating armed resistance from my relatively safe western vantage point, because that would make me a hypocrite, but I am asking for an awareness and acknowledgement that there is a problem that needs to be addressed.

Currently, we as a people are on a downward curve in every discernible measure. The first step is to get our house in order. Individual responsibility centring around a positive and strong identity. We've been divided to the point of dilution. It's ludicrous how easy we allow ourselves to be divided. Without unity we will fail. There's no avoiding it.

Agreed. For one, Sikhs should have more kids, 1-2 isn't going to cut it.

India must grant freedom to a separate state, although I'm not sure if the Hindu majority districts/ Chandigarh would comply, if we were to assume that the Indian government is receptive to Punjab independence.
