Two Sikh Americans have been killed in separate incidents in California, according to community organisations and media reports.

Subag Singh, 68, was found dead in a canal after he went missing in the morning of June 23. His body had injuries.

California law enforcement officials from Fresno county have said that they were trying to find out who was responsible for the killing of the elderly Sikh American. “Deputies found his body with visible trauma in a canal on McCall and Jensen. Investigators are trying to piece together what led up to the body being found in a canal,” Fox26 news said in a report.

Hate crime probe

Deputies are not saying if this was a hate crime or not, but members of the Sikh community say this would not be the first, it said. “Honestly, we are very hurt, it just hurts us. And it just we then, think what else do we need to do,” Gurdeep Shergill, a local community leader, was quoted as saying.

In a separate incident, Simranjit Singh, 20, of Elk Grove was shot dead on July 25 outside a gas station where he worked. He was shot dead reportedly by men who had earlier assaulted his co-worker. “At this point in both investigations, it is unclear if either of these crimes were racially motivated but we are working with both local and federal laws enforcement authorities to ensure these murders are thoroughly investigated and that the local jurisdictions are treating the cases with the utmost importance,” said Sikh American Legal Defence and Education Fund.

There have been a number of attacks targeting Indian-Americans and Sikhs in the recent months.

Please don't say in your title that "Christian Americans" killed two Sikhs. You don't know that, and as such, can be considered Nindia. You put "possibley" (spelling) in there to cover yourself, but anything is possible, including:

"$10,000 embezzled from bank, possibley by @superkaur"

There have been been many killings of Sikhs by Hispanics, not just white Christian Americans.

UPDATE: If you had bothered to do a little searching, you would have found that the killer of Simranjit Singh of Elk Grove was a Hispanic, Alexander Lopez. My hunch turned out to be right. There were 2 other Hispanics involved in the shooting.

The article didn't say whether Lopez was a citizen or possibly illegal alien, in which case he wouldn't be an American, either, further making your accusations wrong.

Hispanics are fanatical catholic christians. I didnt say white christians did i? I said christians

stop sucking up to christian terrorists and killers who are killing our people in usa/canada and trying to convert our people in punjab/india. And calling Sikhi a religion from the devil, I dont have time for Christianity or any other faith whose religious leaders tells its followers such things.

Each person involved could've been Christian. There was no mention that these people were white. Stop making it a race issue, General Dyer was Christian the ones killing Sikhs,  the Christians split Punjab, the Christians are converting Subcontinentals from their original faith using methods of exploitation, forgetting the Subcontinent, it's because of Christianity that the Americas were devastated. A true Christian would want you to leave your faith and accept Jesus Pakhandi.
