Walking to Darbar Sahib

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki Fateh 

I would like to walk from ludhiana to darbar sahib which is roughly 142 kms and want to finish the yatra in a few days. How can i prepare for such a long walk? I still have a month to prepare as i am going in mid November. My route would be from ludhiana to jalhandar,jalhandar to amritsar. Trying to do this in two days. I could also do ludhiana to jalhandar,jalhandar to goindwal sahib, and goindwal sahib to anritsar. These could be my possible routes.

You are going to walk straight from there or going to take rides?
If you will walk your legs will hurt a lot and you will need some places to rest.

142 KM's is big don't just look at a map and see that it's just a little red line.

That’s amazing sewa. Drink plenty of water on the journey. In the olden days people travelled for long distances by foot.

Like what type of exercises should i do to prepare etc

Climb lots of stairs. Maybe with a heavy backpack.

Then when doing the walk it will feel easier.

Being honest, unless you are used to walking at least 10-12 km a day, you will struggle to walk just 42km let alone 142km in a few days. You should start training now if you definitely want to achieve your goal, aim to be walking 25km a day comfortably at least a weak before you set off

To make it count say Wahe with one step , Guru with the other. This is how Sant Attar Singh Mastuane wale walked from Punjab to Nanded Hazur Sahib.

Yea this is what i am preparing to do. Im gonna train for about a month before i leave.
