Puzzled bai ji,  joorah karn walia bahut mil jangia( paath karn walia ghat hi aa ).

virgin is like your luck, you can add this point to your requirement list. Even if you do there is no guarantee of it. You can’t even go for medical test as most of the athlete girls who participate in games and sports and perform hard exercises of stretching and bending something lose their sensitive part( you might be aware of it). So you can try to find all other requirements but finding a virgin will look a bit non sense veere ?

In UK women with joorah is now a rare sight lol    more boys keep joorah than girls ,  which is odd because you would think it's easier for a girl to at least keep a joorah than it is for boys!

Virgins is 50/50   some girls are honest about their past relationships...

I wanna marry a girl who keeps a joorah, does paath, doesn't eat meat, is virgin, and comes from a traditional family like mine.

you want a sikhni that wants to follow grihast jeevan, someone who wants to be grihasti.

Some"virgins" have ex-partners and are stuck in vikari dating mindset, trust me you don't want that in your grihast jeevan!

Indeed, there is a problem with the community mindset.  And this problem is only going to get worse with time.

so we need to tackle if head-on. At the moment, most of the sikh community doesn't seem comfortable with calling hates as haters, instead we are just watching things slowly. When it's people from outside the community, whether it be white racists, or islamic groomers, we seem to stand up aggressively.  But when it's our own community, we seem to just try and let things slide as the hatred seems to be transmitted to further generations. I would say the anti-Singh feeling has at least reached grandchildren generation now. But since even the lost sehajdhari sangat still seems to be using Gurdwara at least for ceremonies, we can still bring them back even by this small thread. As they are still connected to Guru in a minimal way, we can still bring them back to respect the community. Also some organisations like university sikh societites, Basics of Sikhi, Nanak Naam and others seem to bringing some sikhs back and sometimes these sikhs even take khanda dee pahul.

and if/when their marriages with a mona dont work out then thats when almost all of em wanna settle for a singh...cuz theyre safe, a 'fallback', a 'get outta jail card'....

a true singh should never accept being second best for anyone - if u werent good enough for em from the start then in my eyes u never will....

I been seeing amrit-dharis doing this dating mentality as well. 2nd best or whatever is for dating mentaility peoples, trying to do grihast with ex partners, not good

Punjab bai ji

So what will happen to all the Amritdhari Singhs in Punjab the future?

They are already more of them than corresponding women. Gender ratio in Punjab on top of that making things worse!

Then on top of that more females going abroad to study and marrying NRI's.

Meaning that no way can all Amritdhari Singh's in Punjab find local Amritdhari women!

Solutions:

1. We need to stop hating on Gursikhs marrying non-Amritdhari or non-Punjabi women!

2. We should stop assuming that the Khalsa Panth will die out because of non-Amritdhari spouses or non-Punjabi's!

(If someone is so weak that a spouse weakens their commitment to Sikhi then they clearly had weak commitment to begin with)

Especially when Muslim men and groomers who marry non-Muslim women all retain 100% loyalty to Islam in 99% of cases!

That is your opinion but gladly not of panth's ideology. Bend our backs to follow sikhi but do not bend our religion so that our needs are fulfilled. Gustafi maaf.

So Amrithdhari Singhs in Punjab should remain unmarried + childless because there are not enough Singhnian to go around?

No wonder the demographics for the Sikh Panth look bleak right now in Punjab thanks to this inflexible biprenwaad thinking.

No wonder the RSS are laughing at how we are making ourselves a smaller and smaller population for the future like this.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
