Allen Watts is a great western intellectual to listen to, and some of the stuff he says in inline with the universal concept of Sikhi.

Here are just a few of Allens works I would recommend:

An essay On Recognizing Oneness; God Is In All, All Is In God: "Alan Watts- The Nature of Consciousness".

OK, so since you're recommending him, who is he exactly? Where's he from? What does he do? Sell self-help videos on the Internet?

What's the basis for his gyaan? Self-knowledge (anubhav)? Or a PhD?

Lot of people consider alan watts as philosopher and zen mystic. I've read his literature, its pretty good same as echkhart tolle. They discuss common universal theme of all religions which is chetan- atma- pure consciousness/awareness- substratum essence of all things.

As mentioned by veer turbanator its inline with universal concept of sikhi- essence of sikhi- Satguru ultimately being all prevading non dual -sat(eternal) chit(pure consciousness/awareness) anand(bliss) saroop. See essence esoteric meaning of gurparsad (pdf page-114 and satgurparsad(pdf page-955) in japji sahib teeka by sant gyani gurbachan singh khalsa bhindranwale.
