Allen Watts is a great western intellectual to listen to, and some of the stuff he says in inline with the universal concept of Sikhi.

OK, so since you're recommending him, who is he exactly? Where's he from? What does he do? Sell self-help videos on the Internet?

Lot of people consider alan watts as philosopher and zen mystic. I've read his literature, its pretty good same as echkhart tolle. They discuss common universal theme of all religions which is chetan- atma- pure consciousness/awareness- substratum essence of all things.

As mentioned by veer turbanator its inline with universal concept of sikhi- essence of sikhi- Satguru ultimately being all prevading non dual -sat(eternal) chit(pure consciousness/awareness) anand(bliss) saroop. Lester Levenson was an american physicist. He recovered from near death by having a sanyog like epiphany. He later found much of his language framework for this experience in Sikhi.
