Sangat Ji, would someone please be able to help by translating the below into English?

"To recite this shabad,  from Monday, for 40 days,all pain and suffering ceases" 

That's the gist of it really.

it also says to start from the 36th lunar day (chatee thiti)?  and to recite the Shabad 16 times each day.

yeah thanks for the correction. Missed the lunar calendar section.

how does the lunar calendar work?  i didn't even know there were 36 days in it.
