The maryada itself doesn't say it veer ji, but Akal Takth appointed it as the Panth's rehat. Ideally it's minimum.

when you say Akal Takht appointed it, do you mean SGPC or Akal Takht/Akali Bunga before the 1900s?

Exactly, and it wasn't authenticated by Singhs from Buddha Dal and tarna Dal armies. All the Singhs called to the SRM meetings were outside the dals. So in this case it wasn't decided by whole panth, and definelty not chianve krori panth!

Without the experience of rehit of a Nihang Singh, they can't really decide what rehit should or should not be as they didn't live whole rehit themselves.
