Thankfully , The toronto gurdwarey committees are actually doing something right , they and other Canadian gurdwarey have put they heads together and banned entrance of ANY Indian Government officials to any gurdwara

Right move done by canadian sangat and gurudwara committees especially after these Indian Govt. agents and spies had problems with "Khalistan Zindabad" or "Sikh Homeland" writings in these gurudwaras.

You say it as if we have been sleeping, Canadian Sikhs have been at the anti-India forefront since day 1. Most of our Gurdwaray are not in the hands of Communists, Indian Nationalists, Moderates etc. Sure, a couple are, but that's worldwide. Our committee members are angels compared to UK ones.

Would be good if gurdwara members of UK Sikh Council made a similar statement of solidarity against the actions of the hindutva Govt.. and shamed gurdwara committees in India for pandering to the Indian Govt.

The Canadian Sikh Sangat is largely a post-84 sangat. 

The UK Sikh Sangat is largely a post-partition /post WW2 sangat.

This has an impact on their collective psyches.
