How to tie a "Puratan Dastaar"?

The photo bhagat Singh draw of Sri Guru Arjun Dev ji looks as he draw his own photo with small changes and called it Guru Arjun Dev ji photo.

This is not the only photo he draw of himself and labelled it something else.  Look at this one, sada shiva photo looks like him.

Also, just a question: Is is guy (or everybody else, too) simply assuming that "this is the style worn by Guru Hargobind ji" because of a painting?

Aren't the paintings painted that way because kings were just represented in that style? Persian style?

Does anyone have any other evidence (than the painting) that was actually the style of turban worn by Guru Sahib?

true that most paintings are in the fashionable persian style , however all relics indicate gol dastars were popular with Guru Sahiban too

Persians emperors wore topis, not dastars
