Why do they have to say Sikh in the title that just makes it worse for Sikhs.

It's like saying if a christian man launched a terorr attack they won't say he is christian, they will probably say white man or just his name.

If an Asian does it they have to include the race.

It did make me giggle, just questioning whether it needs to be clearly spelled out when we might have impressionable younger readers.

We need to make the youngsters more worldly in my opinion, not closeted, genteel fairies. If you grew up in an average Panjabi environment in the 70s and 80s, you heard a lot worse coming out of the older generations mouth, especially the 'uncles' from village backgrounds. Hell, I don't think any other community came near our lot for filthy swearing. The word I used is relatively tame in comparison.

there are too many fragile 'snowflakes' compared to my/our generation and it might be the case they need to grow a pair, I'm afraid we're in a small minority and it's shrinking by the day.

And that is a VERY VERY dangerous situation to be in for obvious reasons. Especially in certain places that is dominated by other competing aggressive communities.

I agree. It's not a word I use in my everyday life, but this guy who got caught trying to explode his parents is the definition of one of "those."
