Fateh ji. Serious question, I am practicing keeping my Kes, however I often find it difficult during the time of month and with pads in particular. Periods stick to the hairs. What do others do?

you could look at menstrual cups not toxic like tampons and reusable. if however you want to stick with pads , you could get some feminine wipes for on the move cleanup else keep initimate soap products and wash often during the day.

It'll take time to get used to it but so many benefits, keep it up. No more pain, in growns or scabs. As above mentioned, menstrual cups are the new go to... don't even need to wear other underwear underneath. Tampons are good too (unless you have strong feelings against these) Then stick with pads and keep baby wipes with you (much cheaper and sensitive on skin in comparison to makeup wipes etc). You will feel superr refreshed. Also you can always just wipe with toilet paper and water.

penji as Guru Gobind Singh Ji has explained that whenever we go to the toilet (Number 2 /poo) we must wash our backside with water to maintain hygiene. I believe your problem should be solved if you wash your area with warm water everytime you go to change your pad. Am sure ALL punjabi/Sikh households have a empty milk bottle or jug or sonething that is kept near the toilet for this purpose.

The above Gursikhs suggested that you use soap, wipes, initimate soap etc etc however as soneone that works in the medical line I would suggest that nothing other than plain water on a daily basis should be used as the PH or the female genital area can becone unbalanced and cause irritation e.g. thrush, infection etc. Obviously using soap to wash down below during your morning shower is required but using such products often throughout the day may be harmful.

I’ve been using menstrual cups but don’t know why it leaks a little.. do u know how can I make it stop leaking.. I’m pretty sure that it pop open and sealed because if I try to pull it down I can feel that it’s sealed so I don’t know if that’s the problem of leakage or something else.. any tips would be helpful if u also use cups. Thanks

maybe you need to change the brand of cup as some are a little prone to do it , does yours have little holes for making/breaking seal?  will PM to continue
