Brother, assuming that you have this PDF, can you just upload it to Sikhsangat in a new topic?

Thanks.

(Scribd is highly annoying for charging money for downloading PDFs that people uploaded for free.)

Uggardanti.pdf

Thanks a lot!

If I may ask, who wrote this translation/teeka?

And from what source has the paath been verified?

The only type of meat I eat is Lamb thats Jhatkad by a Rehatdhari Nihang Singh using a Puratan Sarbloh Kirpan...

I am sure it doesn't specifically have to be a Nihang Singh?

According to the Budha Dal website, Jhatka is done when the last two lines of Chand Di Vaar is being read out.

I heard that before somewhere.  Giani thakur singh ji also says this in asa di vaar part 25. I might try to find a link. Thanks for reminding me

either this was the worldview of the Khalsa of the 1700s or maybe this was a Bhavikat Bani or a Bani predicting a future MahaYudh or great war in which the Khalsa will become victorious over both Hindus and Muslims.

Thanks for writing all this out on Uggardanti.

Any fair reading of Uggardanti (taking into all the lines, not just the "... dharam Hindu ..." line) will reveal a mindset antagonistic towards both "Hindu" and Islamic paths, seeing Khalsa as the highest path.
