Shastar Prakash Maryada?

Is there a posted maryada of Shastar Prakash? I want to set one up but want to know the procedures before doing so.

By the way, akharas that slap their thighs right in front of the shastar don't seem to be following maryada.

Yes, if you didn't know I placed a mass order quite a while ago on various Sikh websites in which I got a lot of shastars.

I have also made some of my own shastars under the guidance of sevadars who are willing to teach.

Right, I have setup the shastar prakash.

I figured out that the maryada is fairly the same as if you had Guru Granth Sahib Ji at home.

 

I have a whole room dedicated to only shastar prakash at the moment.

When I am not reading/listening to any bani, I leave on Shastar Naam Mala.

I light incense when I start my morning baania.

I also do Aarti-Aarta standing up, holding the Thaal.
