Sikhism and Biocentrism

Recommended Posts

So, in the past Robert Lanza was well known for his book and his theory of Biocentrism, Robert Lanza is a well-known scientist, and he had a theory in which consciousness created the universe and not the other way around, and in a way it connects with Sikhi, and eastern religions. Robert Lanza states that there is some form of afterlife, ie. Reincarnation, in which once we die we are reborn in a different universe, and such (multiverse). He also states that Death is an illusion, and such, I just feel it connects with Sikhism since we believe in Reincarnation like if we do not do good deeds, and recognize god, then we will be reborn again, and again. If you don't understand it, here are some links. Also, I know it says is death is an illusion which is against Sikhi which is a reason why we are reborn in Sikhism, because we do not recognize, or neglect it. I might sound insane, but I just feel that Sikhism in a way has a lot of connections with Science and this theory of Biocentrism as a whole; however, we will never know the mysteries of God. So for those who have read Biocentrism what is your views on it, and Sikhi?

While it's not possible to match up every aspect of Sikhism to Lanza, I do think he's on to something when saying that consciousness created the universe. Daniel Dennett and Richard Dawkins are wrong to say that matter created consciousness, or that consciousness doesn't really exist, it's just an illusion.

I should've collected my thoughts, but I mean its kind of neat that reincarnation and the soul can exist in a scientific sense, but I was kind of excited by this and wrote this in my head as soon as I can so sorry if I sound pagal
