If you wanna sit down and talk about this issue in depth, let me know and we can figure out a time to talk.

When you first showed up on this board and posted a few good posts (meaning well though out, not necessarily that I agreed with them or not, though I did for many), I thought you had promise to have serious discussion.

This, however, is content-free nonsense:

SGPC is doing a great job preserving the Abrahamic Framework of Sikhism, I love those guys!

 SGPC ZINDABAAAAAAAAAAD!

And this is a blatant lie:

Also, do you have a 3-ft kirpan on you, as the pre-British invasion Sikhs did?

Don't lie.

Yes I do

So, if you want to just state that your desire to refute some views of mine (none of which were expressed in my original response to the OP) got the better of you, and you started attributing stuff to me which I didn't state here, and you also lied above, then we can have a discussion on various topics mentioned by you above.

(But not in this thread, a separate one, a week or so later.)

It's such an obvious joke. I give very clear and obvious indications when I am joking, compared to when im in serious mode, which I am 90% of the time.

IT'S A JOKE, and a very obvious one. If you know my views, you will know that I have oftentimes criticised the SGPC.

Your original post is literally inline with my views, it already affirms that the Guru called the Sikh ideology "Sikhi", "GurSikhi", among other terms, but none of them were the common "Sikhism" which we see today.

Gurbani/Sikh concepts are set in stone, but the Khalsa Rehat is supposed to evolve over time. You are confusing the two.

Bro a little off point Khalsa rehit is atal because it was given by Guru ji , it us who need to live up to it , not change it . We are all supposed to do our best to be minimum amritvela de pakke , try to increase our memorisation of gubani and do vichar of it , study shastarvidya/self-defence, be prepared to give up this life in a heartbeat for the kaum ... else you are saying Guru ji is not perfect and didn't know what his Singhs needed going forward.

Dhan dhan raam daas gur jin siri-aa tinai savaari-aa

Blessed, blessed is Guru Ram Das; the One who created You has also exalted You.

Pooree hoee karaamaat aap sirajanhaarai dhaari-aa

Perfect is Your miracle; the Creator has installed You on a throne.

SIKHEE atai sangatee paarbrahm kar namasakaari-aa

Sikhs as well as all Conscious people recognize You because you manifest the Creator.

All of this is already mentioned in Gurbani, my point still stands.

The Guru created the Khalsa Panth and also gave it Gurgaddhi. The Khalsa is designed to evolve over time, and there is a reason why Gurbani does not contain many very specific rules, becuase they would become outdated. Gurbani only contains that which is allways relevant, my point still stands.

PS: Singhs and Kaurs, not just only Singhs.

Props to you for admitting that you like wearing chola, but aren't able to do it all the time. Better to admit to what you than pretend to be something you're not.

Better than 99 to 1 odds that he doesn't drink samundar in a sarb loh bata but rather Starbucks in a plastic/paper cup.

Me? I love wearing Chola and I keep it on all the time not at school though. I keep it with kamarkassar mainly.

Are you the same ego manic mod on Sikh Reddit , or is that someone else.

Dont know of any "ego manic" mod, but your a big one to accuse someone of ego. Have you tried talking to the guy? maybe you can work something out, better than bad mouthing him behind his back.

    • yeh it's true, we shouldn't be lazy and need to learn jhatka shikaar. It doesn't help some of grew up in surrounding areas like Slough and Southall where everyone thought it was super bad for amrit dharis to eat meat, and they were following Sant babas and jathas, and instead the Singhs should have been normalising jhatka just like the recent world war soldiers did. We are trying to rectifiy this and khalsa should learn jhatka.  But I am just writing about bhog for those that are still learning rehit. As I explained, there are all these negative influences in the panth that talk against rehit, but this shouldn't deter us from taking khanda pahul, no matter what level of rehit we are!
    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
