I could be wrong, but I don't believe you pesh for that. 

I commend you giving up the behavior. 

If you did want to talk to panj pyare just say you were struggling with kaam and tell them what you told us. 

I bow to the expertise on the Sangat regarding this, but it's my understanding you don't have to pesh for that.

I have this aswell! I'm trying to stop. I went 9 days without doing it but gave in yesterday .  Starting from today I'm gonna try to not do that and see how long I last this time      its about trying to get out of the habit really.  Masturbating habit and porn addiction are two different things really.

Well the 4 bajjar kurehits are:

1) Disrespecting kes (hair)

2) Eating khulla/halal/kosher (non-jhatka)

3) Pre marital sex (sex before marriage)

4) Use of tobacco.

 

Kaam, or in this case masturbation more specifically fits into pre marital sex pretty much. An Amritdhari has to fight the panj chor (5 evils of the mind).

Take it this way, you lost the battle with Kaam and you need strength so you do an ardaas.

3) should EXTRA marital sex - sex outside of marriage  that also covers premarital and adultery which is conduct unbecoming of a khalsa .

Please realise guys that once you get hooked into porn it is very hard to break the addiction because basically you have developed a junkie's habit for dopamine that's the brain's bliss hormone . Just like a drug addict is hooked by his brain chemistry being too low in dopamine to make him feel happy or just normal he takes the drugs for the dopamine hit he gets .

Sex also releases dopamine in the brain but porn gives the impossibile access to multiple experiences in a day, each with its hit of dopamine. If you don't get control over the situation you will eventually make yourself hijarde chemically , where even in the company of a real live person you will not get any arousal - this is a relatively new but intensely studied form of erectile dysfunction  referred to as PIED porn Induced Erectile Dysfunction.

Please understand it's not a laughing matter it can and has lead to suicides , please get help
