Why dont we have sikh hockey players representing england, canada etc. ?

Recommended Posts

Kabaddi and Field Hockey are the 2 most loved sports of Punjabis.

We have large sikh population in countries like canada, england etc. but why dont we have sikh players representing these countries ?

If we have 4-5 players in the field hockey teams of canada, england, it wil be a great parchar of sikhi and it will also give sikh role models to the  young kids.

The reason is because we have become soft, and prefer to twiddle pens and type on laptops rather than run like crazy on a field.

Have you lived in those countries? In the UK Hockey is less popular than soccer, cricket, rugby, tennis, boxing.  I think less than 1/100 people here can name a single hockey player. It’s also limited to mainly middle class areas and schools

we need people like Madha Singh Ji in countries like Canada and UK who can train our youth so that our youth can excel in sports and serve in army of their respective countries.

why give the flower of our youth to the K4nj$r Indian army or any army for that matter , it has been proven in history that our boys are always sent to catch the backlash from rapisthan army's activities with suppressed locals . Bahminwadi love nothing more than sending our boys home in coffins and shrouds ... we should train them to be excellent for Akal Purakh ki fauj

1. because their maa pio don't push them into sports activities

2. Uk sports are heavily dependent on location of training camps and lottery money

3. parents constantly saying that's not a real profession because there's is no 'status' in Punjabi circles

But then why in Indian hockey team, you will find many players from Punjab?

Hockey might not be that popular among goraas. But it is a favourite sport of punjabis.

IF punjabis in UK can save and promote Kabaddi, why havent they done the same for hockey.?

HOckey not being that popular among goraas is actually a good thing for punjabis as their competition to make it to the national team shud be less.
