REAding paath fast

[Guest Fast]

I read my paath fairly fast. I just get into a rhythm and it helps me concentrate as well but my santhiya does suffer kind of cos of it so is that okay or is it not?

I would also pay attention to all the akhar (even sihari or aunkar after a word). This way you will read with less mistakes. 

I personally also need to stop and pay attention to all the akhar as well.

Spot on.    Since I've been doing this, I've noticed just how many paathis mispronounce many words. The SIHARIS seem to be ignored and overlooked the most. I've actually learned from a old friend that in some words, it is imperative because your tongue won't initiate the same spiritual effect inside you.

I want to read 100 Japji sahibs like sant Jarnail Singh Ji but I don't want to risk my santhiya . I can do a max of 30 in my day schedule so is there a way i can increase the amount but also keep my santhiya

it is not a matter of 'I want'  it's 'I hope for the blessing' , do your thirty with full concentration on shudh uccharan , do ardas in front of your Guru ji for the blessing of Gurbani and slowly add an extra repetition . With nimrata you will go further as Guru ji app will open the way for you .
