Dirty Politics of relabelling Langar and making Sikhs into Beggars

In an effort to undermine Guru Nanak Dev ji's concept of Langar and relabelling it as a RSS yojna , the GST on Langar fiasco has hit a new twist the reprieve on Hramandir Sahib is only for two years.

Bascially the tax is collected then if we prove more than 5000 people are served per month then we can apply to get our money back , whether we get it yet remains to be seen . If returned it will be returned under the title Sewa Bhog Yojna  and be counted as a government project not Guru ji's langar i.e. undermining the meaning of Guru ji's langar. It also means begging for the money back year on year and having to disclose gurdwara finances , sangat numbers ...a lot of worrying data to be in the hands of the enemy.

This is terrible.

Langar and Seva should go hand in hand. There should not be any financing or taxes in the equation. Otherwise, it's not vand shako or seva.

worst thing is they collect 2 years worth ahead of time and guess what the electionis coming next year so the BJP will probably pocket it and we are not talking small amounts SGPC has given over 230 crode rupee think how much sewa could be done with that even if it was sunk into co-ops to help the needy ... The other thing is GST is not exempt on sugar, butter, milk, ghee, any form of veg oils and the transport of same  and degh takes so much sugar and butter/ghee it is a direct tax on Degh. It shows justs how low these people are... and Harsimarat Badal is proud to announce the facts of this scheme .

If this is true it is a discrace by modi and the goverment. 

India is always trying to loot its citizens for every penny it can get. They have gone way to far. Trying to make Gurus langar and turning it into a government initiative to take all the credit for it.

it has been true since 2014 when the VAT free langar suddenly got GST put on it ...
