No problem at all. It will be hot as hell. I went last year and it was terrible because of summer rush and huge lines. I felt that maybe because I usually like quiet vacation spots but again with little kids, you can't have everything. Good location but weather is like india and more ppl from other countries fill that place up.

Thanks. Do they make you go through body scanners and use metal detection wands? Just worried about kirpan of course...

They do have security check station where they look into your bags etc. I wear very small kirpan but always underneath. We went in with no problem. I also know a Singh who visits from Canada almost every year and he says it’s no issue.

I went to Disneyland in California last year, and we were not allowed to wear Kirpans inside. They had metal detectors and would not allow Kirpans inside under any circumstances, religious or not. I think you should personally call their security department and get additional information or perhaps pre-approval, and also you may have to look at wearing small Kirpans.

No, you wiil not be allowed to take in kirpan.  Metal detectors that you have to walk thru like airport security. before you go thru turnstiles.

@S1ngh is referring to the turnstiles where you have the bag check. This used to be main point of entry before the scanners came in few years ago. If it asks you to declare any items that may be considered dangerous, and it will have posters with pictures, then you must declare. Don't try and "conceal" to sneak it in.   The police dept will come down heavy if there is any issue and you will spend the night in a cell until released by legal representative.

Then don't forget Universal park, they've had the same levels of security for many years.

I don't remember going thru metal detector when i was there last year. However, family of ours went in with sri sahibs and same with disney land and universal studios many time. I guess it is more like hit and miss thing.

Thanks for this information. It seems too risky. Its a big cost from UK and could be huge disappointment for children if turned away. Sad times when arguably the most peace loving way of life is turned away for the fear of mindless violence.
